Hi all I’m going to do Meng’s Pick Up. Initially with the ZPU but I’m torn about that. Maybe you can help; my options are… 1. Pick Up with ZPU…maybe Libyan or whatever. I like the ZPU and have started it but this is my least favourite option. 2. Pick Up with machine gun; a CIA's Special Activities Division vehicle or Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (A-Team) c.2001 in Afghanistan. 3. Pick Up post zombie apocalypse style gunship; with ‘The A Team’ type mods…wire mesh, lights, home made bull bars, .50 machine gun etc. this is my favourite option so far. It'll empty my spares box a bit LOL What do you think Smudge

Well option 2 sounds good, but 3 will be awesome to see. the scratched additional items, wire mesh, will set this model apart from others. Oh and it will be fun to paint. So I think option #3.

did you see the vid on megs site with the Spanish guy building one?, i taught it was odd that he used no primer..
When i get my hands on one ill prob do the special forces option.
but an A-Team style job sounds cool

Agree with you... have seen several Libyan or similar versions so either option 2 or 3 sounds great! I am leaning to 3... add a figure that looks like Mr. T and it shouldn't be hard to add a mohawk.

I would go with option 2, but then again, I am not much of a "Zombie Apocalypse " theme fan.

Option 2 sounds fave to me Smudge.........Option 3 is cool but we are plannin' a post-apocalypse stylee GB for later in the year and you could empty yer spares box then and join in the GB fun Hi Dicky I'm pretty rubbish at group builds. No staying power you see I could start a year in front and still finish a year behind...plus I've started now. I'm thinking of something differant; Zombies in Yorkshire...sort of Walking Dead meets Emmerdale LOL. This is the chassis. Goes together easily, a few seam lines but comes off easy. Plastic is a little soft and the blade 'digs in' so be careful. Note in teh bottom picture the steering arm keeps popping off. Meng say to leave this unglued but I don't think you can. My suggestion; set teh steering to the position you want and then put a small amount of glue on Sprayed black straight from the can. Tamiya IIRC Smudge
