The chipping fluids are great and I recommend you get some but a few good coats of hsp will do the job

Tracks really give this one a "mean" look...something about those Winterketten does that to a build! Looking good there Spud.

Now it looks the part Spud. The weathering brings it to life. Of course with the tracks and wheels on, it looks more like a tank.

Overdone? Nah, not at all considering the subject of the diorama. From what I see as it's forming up I'd say it was about right, for what that's worth. It's a mighty fine job you're doing on this one, I might add.
