My vote goes for dark yellow or field grey! Why? More color diversity. I'd avoid black or grey or the bike would be lost because of its color background.
Yellow sounds perfect... next to red tool box!

Looking good Gary! The DY bicycle could be one of those brand-new ones issued before the field units had switched over from Pz Gray to DY on this particular Stug III E so not out of the realm of possibility. Looking forward to seeing it done up along with the rest.

Thanks for stopping by Bill...always nice to hear from ya! I went ahead with DY just for contrast instead of 100% accuracy. Didnt want the Grey bike to get lost in tha 50 shades of Grey.... ;D Gary

Well...i painted the bike and decided to paint the other tarp roll. Im gonna post a couple pics and i would like you fellas opinion. Do you like the extra crate added to the mix In this pic? DSCF2833 by BBD468, on Flickr Or you fellas like this look better withou the extra crate? DSCF2835 by BBD468, on Flickr Oh, and heres the bicycle painted and clear coated. DSCF2831 by BBD468, on Flickr Im not sure why but painting the bike was a BIT*H!!! And My oil fade on the Stug looked good as far as the color variations but it wiped out all the pin wash detail...so i cleaned off some excess and re glossed. Ill start the process again. Gary

Hey Brother. The bike sure does look good! I have the same problem sometimes with the weathering and streaking obscuring the pin washes. I re layer the pin washes, but I don't re gloss. Looks like your on the right track though..............

Nice job on the bike Gary, looking good! My vote's with the others regarding the stowage options but either would work IMHO.

Thank you so much fellas!!! Stowage pic no.2 it is then! I like it better too. I think this look with the bike being secured on the back looks good too. What about you guys? It may not make the final cut this way though since i have 2 figs to incorporate some how. Anyways, here she be now..... DSCF2838 by BBD468, on Flickr DSCF2839 by BBD468, on Flickr Now im on to weathering the StuG. Oh, and finish the bicycle...still have to clean off excess wash and do flat coat. Gary

Very nice Gary...the bike strapped to the back gives it a "gypsy caravan" type of feel to it...only small suggestion would be to scoot it over ever so slightly to the right when you finally install it so that it doesn't present a snag hazard to the left hand track side.

Hello fellas, Bill - I always appreciate your input man. Thanks for havin' my back bro. I have a Q? for you or any one else who can tell me. What color are the tail lights on the rear fenders? Rear left dark green, and rear right red? I haven yet decided what to do with the bike yet so it will be left to the end of the build. I have applied a wash and started weathering tracks and lower hull. Still need to detail tools and handles, finish stowage, Do a bit of streaking, some minor chipping, and ill do some mud splatters....but not too much Wouts!! ;D There are various other things to wrap up like the antennas which ive broke both off and then ill start the figs.
