Figs look great Gary!!! Very relaxed posing! Only thing I think I neglected to buy over the weekend was figs!!!! LOL!!!

LOL...those tiny boxes, crap, my neck hurts just standing there just picking them up to see what they are!! I am looking for a couple of different relaxed dudes...one to two both German and US, like re-supply guys from what I am thinking!! Come across something shout it out!!  |

Hey fellas, Thanks you guys! I actually got some painting done earlier today. Im close to starting the base but im still undecided on what im gonna do with it all. Im coming up 'Blank' - if you will. Ill get it sorted out at some point soon. Anyways heres what i got done this morning.  DSCF2869 by BBD468, on Flickr  DSCF2871 by BBD468, on Flickr I still need to finish the head of the figure standing aswell as adding a holster to his belt aswell as paint the detail on the collars and shoulder boards. Im pretty much done with the head on the sitting fig but still need to paint the body. I pretty happy with what i have so far even though the uniforms will not be accurate, just didnt want to go black. Thanks for lookin' fellas, Gary |

Mighty nice figure work, my man. You're right in not rushing a base, take your time in thinking one up-one to match the excellent job this has turned out to be to date. By the way, I'd not be too quick to advertise the uniform color as inaccurate, I seem to recall reading somewhere that self propelled gun crews did not always wear Panzer Black.

Thanks so much fellas! Im really happy the way the heads turned out. Best ive done in 1/35th to date. MXperessions vid helped tremendously. Been preping the wood base, getting it ready for a seal coat before starting ground work and the like. While it dries over the next day or two, ill try to finish the figs. Gary |

Thanks Mack! I followed the DVD steps as close as i could. I even got a steel pan and bakeing paper/parchment and did exactly what he did when mixing the colors and i cant argue against the results. OH, I also made sure i didnt make my coffee too strong. hehe! Shakey hands are no good for face painting! ;D ;D Dicky, Thanks so much fella! That means alot. Gary |
