Comrades, this is my Trumpeter 1/35 BTR-60P which is the open-topped version.
I built this OOB with only the antenna as an aftermarket because it is made from a guitar string.
I retained the Dushka machine gun as I don't have the SGMB or PKT that are usually mounted for these crawlers.

The paints were Tamiya while the pigments are Vallejo and Mig Prods while the wash and streaks are oil colours.

How did you make the antenna wire from guitar string? Here they sell the strings bent in circle and they tend to stay bent. How do you straighten them?

comrade bullardino, they do sell it also here in rounded form but what i did is use some pliers and carefully straighten the wires. kind of tricky because the guitar strings are quite not flexible compared to copper wires but slow and repeated bendings worked for me.

This kit has been sitting on my shelf for more than a year so I was glad that I finished it already and finally it can sit side-by-side with my motor rifle division hehehe!
