Wouter i agree on the pinkish tones this was caused by the Nato rainmarks i think in real life this could occur anyways i have started the mud and dust stage pics up later when i get it finished.

Hey all i have had a few hours of bench time after having some time off due to family commitments i started by dusting the lower hull and areas that dust would settle i used flat brown and buff for this heavily thinned through my AB.
Next up i used Ak earth tone pigments these were mixed with plaster and thinners then splattered using a brush and my AB Vallejo matt varnish wash used to fix these when it had dried.
The same process was used on the roadwheels Black Revell enamel was used to tone down and to make the pigments look damp and it was used for the oil stains.

Right the Jadgpanther is 99% finished just waiting on some fruils to arrive since the last update i have attached the jerry can rack and tarpulin, , exhausts, and dirtyfied the other side of the roawheels i know this is not everyones cup of tea with the weathering but really happy with how its turned out.

Nice to see an update on this one Dan! Looking good. I have to admit though that I at first thought that the JP would be poking it's gun through the hole in the barricade in a hull-down type of position but the way you've got it laid out works as well. Looking forward to the next round!

Wouter: yes my freind i will be doing all the little details last thing as when i have got the mud and dust flying around it goes everywhere and makes painting certain things difficult.

WBill: I did think of doing the barrel through the barricade you are making me change my mind again !!!!! lol i will see what happens mate

Sorry to torture you Dan! The potential downside to having the barrel pointing out of course is what that does to the dimensions of the display and potential snagging hazards on the shelf...whichever way you go it will look fantastic, I have no doubt of that. ;D

Hey all today i managed to get 4 hours in on the base i starte on the soil part of the barricades and added some fuel oil drums here and there more shrapnel will be added as i go then i moved onto the tedious task of cutting some cork cobblestones then laid them with the help of Fritz my handyman
