Hi Spud, Wow - you really did this one justice Spud! I'm soooo impressed! Guys - Spud and I did a 'kit swap' after I failed miserably to build this the first time round and after I precurred another kit from a buddy I knew there was no way I'd be able to really do this kit justice. Much as I hate to say I'm a through and through German Armour modeller and this build really didn't get me going and I was lost on a lot of the detailing and what should and shouldn't be done etc so I swapped it with Spud for a lovely Dragon LAH Kharkhov Pz. IV G Now that I will do justice! Great work Spud - I've got the Bronco Comet in my stash that I will build next year but for now I'm happy with my German stuff. Ben

Hey spud how did the dryer trick work out? Did it shrink the track enought? If it didn't the only other thing I can think of is when you remove the links you need is to use a small stapler to hold the tracks together.

I hope shortening the tracks won't cause too much pressure on the idlers and drive sprockets. Take your time spud.

Camera dead? That's OK as long as you fixed the dryer... I have been getting reports that somebody is starting to smell bad out there in Ireland. LOL
Looking forward to your next post... this kind of work fixing the tracks would drive me nuts!
