Looking really good especially the camo! I have same Zimm set made of brass and I wasn't sure if I will ever use it but after looking at your work now I will.

Nice camo mate, love those colors. I must say, the Elefant is one of my favourite pieces of armour (it has something brute about it) and you are doing a good job
Cheers

I can't wait to have a go, at using some Zimm on a build. Just noticed, how impressive the barrel looks.

Well this kit has seen the inside of the box to long. Fruils came in here the other day , and I managed to get a start at it.

So I thought the tracks had been in the box long enough . I had to drill every link since I was using a 0,6 tread. The included was to soft, and the casting forced me to work on every link. Anyway one side done for the most part, and all the links for the other side is ready to be assembled . Also got the mig oil and grease, and the AK engine oil. Both used together. Test fitting the wheels Tracks: Oil and grease All comments and criticism most welcome

Looking really good especially the camo! I have same Zimm set made of brass and I wasn't sure if I will ever use it but after looking at your work now I will. Just remember the lesson that both Sollie and I have learned, pre-damage your brass zim before it's installed. Sollie - this is coming around very nicely. It's definitely got a "well-worn" feel to it.

Thanks for looking all.
What I did was to add some smal spot's of milputty to the places I wanted a 'worn' look on the brass zimm. I tried to punch a little hole, and 'rip' out a part to make it look damaged, but soon found out thas was not the way, at least for me. then I just added some hull red / flat red on those spot's , and used a stiff brush after the camo was on.

Very nice work here Sollie , the grey barrel and different coloured road wheels all give it that 'been in the field for some time look' . Also great work on the tracks they are sitting very naturally.
