Hi all, having just joined, i thought i would start by shareing what i have completed ove rthe last few years. These were all built since i got back into the hobby in 2008. They are all still waiting for Diorama's to be finished, which i will get around to soon i hope. All were built for GB's over on FSM, so some of you may have seen them before. Dragon's 251/17Ausf D. Italeri's Ostwind. CH Panther w Pz IV turret, my most recent completion, finished just before xmas. Dragon Kugelblitz. And tamiya's Mid production Tiger I, my first build coming back into the hobby. Thanks for looking, and all comments are very welcome.

Thanks guys.
Luigi, it was indeed a real tank. There may have been no more than 3. They were field conversions using Bergepanther hulls which were themselves field conversions from the original Panther Ausf D's.
With the Pz IV turret, whcih was welded on, they served as command vehicles with the recovery platoon of the 653. s pz Jag Abt in mid 1944.

Thanks a lot, Bish. I had never seen one before, but I must confess my ignorance on german armor subjects

Thanks guys. I am a big fan of German what if's, aircraft mainly, but i am also into the Paper Panzers. As well as that, i really like the German AA tanks. So the Kugelblitz was a great mix for me. Hopefully i can get the dio done soon, i have all the bits and figures for it, just need the time.

Thanks Dicky. The turret was originally intended for a new series of U-Boats. It must have been cramped as hell. The turret housed 3 crew and only had the one hatch on top, there was no access to the hull. Heres the real thing.
