Great job with those oils, Gary The fading is subtle but it adds a lot to the 3d feeling of the tank

Looking good Gary. Oils work wonders eh bro. Don't worry about the satin, it'll go away after once the weathering is on her.

I've heard of catching a virus from the 'net before but this is taking things to a new level! Nice work on the filters and fading Gary, it's adding a lot of subtle variation to the monotone scheme with each new update.

Satin is much better to work on than flat varnish mate, you did a great job so far, the oil fading works perfect on the satin.
Simply FLAWLESS !!!

It doesn't help that yer've lost yer 'chin filter' lol Hey fellas, Thanks for all the wonderful comments fellas, sure keeps me pluggin' away! Dicky, I keep reachin' for my chin filter and it aint there....Feels wierd. But, im still a manly beast! Heres a christmas pic with my niece. Most the other pics im shovelin' food down my throat....not pretty. I have finished the oil fadeing and appied a filter. I also did some airbrush dusting and AK streaking on the lower hull before glueing the tracks and wheels on. Now ill do some very minor chipping in appropriate areas, detail tools and wood handles and paint in vision ports, periscopes and headlights and the like. Here she be now! To be continued! Gary
