Hello chaps. Wow, wonderful response from you all, thank you, feel free to do a group Hoppy Foot Dance Jaymes, yep, gotta change those tyres, the kit ones are shockers Been on the Gaso.Line web site but they offer what appears to be two different sets of wheels / tyres which has me befuddled at the moment, have sent a mail to them, see what the reply is. Back soon with a few sprue shots...

Chaps. Apologies for the delay. So, what's in the box? Yes, jackwagon was right with his earlier post, it's a Coyote, at least bits of one. Sprue A Sprue B Sprue C, couple of parts had come away, no damage though. Sprue D, decals and not shown a 64 step instruction booklet with the back cover printed in colour showing paint colours and decal placement. About 150 parts which is pretty decent for Quarter Scale. Something to note, you can actually build the Jackal from this kit instead of the Coyote, just use sprues A-C as D contains the extra parts for the Coyote. Been a very long time since I looked at let alone purchased an Airfix kit and I'm impressed, the molding is very crisp and the detail levels are great too, certainly up there with, if not better than Tamiya, great stuff. ;D

Great to see you here fella, I thought a modest 1/48 jobby would fill a gap until my next bike appears. Let the Hoppy Foot Dance begin...

Hi Dan, cutting and gluing underway Starting with the suspension. Three identical units need to be assembled, here's the parts for one of them... All goes together beautifully and ends up like this... Two more to go!

Hi Dicky. That's the problem with the youngsters, they think they can just wander in and sit where they want! Michael Flatulence ;D ;D ;D , mind you, I do a Hoppy Foot Dance for a half decent Bacon Roll! Have to say its a really neat kit, so far a pleasure to build.

Hi ER. Yes mate, considering the scale, very good detail indeed, not overdone but to my untrained eye, about right. Quick update as promised. Remaining two suspension assemblies built and added to their chassis. Back up the front, suspension sandwiched between the hull and the floor. Slight warp on the floor, pulls nicely back into place with some glue and gentle clamping. And back up on top, starting the detail with the roll bars and seat backs. I found it smart to offer up the cab sides to get the alignment of the roll bars correct while the glue sets. Sorry if there's too many pics, just thought that being a new release it might be useful to you... Back soon.

Chaps. Luigi, thanks buddy, so far so good! Martyn, get one (or two), you won't be disappointed. ER, you're right but I enjoy building more than painting so I'm trying to make it last. Eth, hi fella. I have distant memories of how Airfix kits built up or in some cases didn't so I was a tad concerned before I started. I'm well into the build now and up to this point, the fit has been 100% spot on. Gary, thanks mate. It's a brand new one from Airfix and I really hope they continue to release more 1/48 modern armour subjects. Ok chaps, brief update. Rear half of the running gear attached to the front along with the cab sides. And one more for today with the bed installed and the first detail parts being added. So far, it's all gone really well, enjoying it. ;D
