Thanks guys, another bit done today merkava update 001 by Brembo2012, on Flickr evening out the first wash with some DAK streaking grime on the turret now, about half way though in this pic. The front has been done, the rear is still to be blended in but you can see the dots of grey to be worked on sitting near the hatches. merkava update 002 by Brembo2012, on Flickr next i moved back to the road wheels to start laying in the rubber wheel rim colours again, just using a thinned down black acrylic wash. you can vary colour intensity quite well with acrylic and these will get dusted up again a bit further down the road once we get into the pigments. thats it for now. cheeers rich

Andy; Thanks mate, having a few photos to work from certainly makes doing the streaks easier. Dupes & iking: Thank you also for your encouragement. im flying by the 'seat of my pants' on this one as its the first time i've extended myself into the more advanced weathering techniques so im definately learnin as i go. cheers Rich
