Wouter- LOL Sorry I build at slow pace. Good news posting another small update now. Unfortunately I will be traveling again for five days this Wednesday but I am not complaining this time because the destination is Orlando, Florida. Rob- LOL Thanks boss! LOL ;D Bill- What happened to 49ers and Colts yesterday?!?!? At least it allowed me to spend more time at my bench. Bullardino- Thanks man! Another small update coming up... T- Thanks buddy! Guys- Thanks to crappy Colts game yesterday I hid in my basement to work on the Tiger... Hull have been glued together. MG has been replaced with RB barrel of course because I will break the styrene piece off later if I don't replace it. ;D Working on clasps for the tools. Now I have to say that I am really enjoying this time because it is a new kit and it offers two sets of tools... one with molded clasps and without clasps ;D. Nice change not sanding molded clasps off!!! Hope to post another update or two before my Orlando trip. Which Disney character you want me to target first while I am there? ;D

At least you were able to get some production done yesterday Andy...I honestly don't know what happened with the 'Niners...I think the previous two games went to their heads and they forgot just who they were playing in the Giants!

Sorry for being slow... long hours at the office this week before I leave for Orlando in the morning. Anybody know a good model shop out there? ;D Spud- Thanks mate! Andy- Appreciate you stopping by... thanks! PE and my slow building pace I am afraid it will be a while for me to finish it. LOL Dicky- Dopey it is!!! Hope I will find free time for a quick trip to one of Disney places... Steve- Thanks man! Appreciate it! Gary- Impressed? But I am MORE impressed with your work. LOL Thanks Bill- Maybe it would have been better of 49ers played against Colts last Sunday. ;D Eastrock- Thanks appreciate you taking your time! Rob- I used to hate PE clasps but they seems to be easier over time as long as I don't have those flying across the basement. Two sided tape helps hold them down cause my fat fingers will never cooperate! Finger cramps? Especially in the following morning... so you got any morphine to spare? LOL Of course I will be checking on you guys while I am stuck in my hotel room if I am not too busy beating up Dopey for our friend Dicky. Have a good one!

Robbo- Thanks mate!!!
Chris- Now I am having second thoughts about Dopey because I didn't realize he was related to you.
Dicky- You still want me to get Dopey or you having a change of heart? LOL
At hotel in Orlando and internet access really sucks! Took more than a minute to for all of Dicky's pics to appear at his thread. Off to the bar to drink one or two for you guys...

I am back... no more trips for a long time hopefully. I have to say that I am disappointed with this Voyager PE set so far. They are so fragile that they break into pieces if you bent more than once. Do you experience similar issue with Voyager PE sets? This is my first... Here's another example Voyager should have done better... they wanted me to use the kit supplied part and cut off molded straps off the fire extinguisher and replace with PE. That would take me a long time to do this. Fortunately I had styrene rods and one was pretty close but little smaller. Who cares?!? It made my job a lot easier... why can't Voyager just include a piece at first place like other manufacturers do. Completed four more tools so far... two more to go I think which is barrel cleaning rods and steel cables. I have a quick question for you guys... keep in mind it is my first Tiger build. Before I can glue the guard on should I paint the exhaust fan or just paint them black if we can't see them that well after adding second screen guards? Any advise would be appreciated... thanks for looking!

Andy, if you check my tiger, I painted it first before covering the exhaust fan its still visible, if its for show you must paint it, if not you can always paint black.
cheers!!!

Bullardino- Thanks buddy! Gary- I just can't help but I enjoy this... really like the improved looks despite taking up a lot of my time. You will need a very good dictionary listing all foul words you can think of when you deal with PEs. ;D We can work it out... just send me 30 clasps along with one or two model kits... I take Dragons only. LOL Eastrock- Thanks man! Appreciate you answering my question. I will definitely take another look at your Tiger thread.

Andy,
I've largely avoided using Voyager sets as a rule because they do tend IMHO to be fragile (and overly-complicated) at the bend lines and unforgiving as a result. I've had some come apart on me at the first bend although a rare occurrence to be sure. I prefer Griffon and Eduard for most PE work as a result. Nice job with the tools and clamps!

Bill- Now I understand why... I am afraid I have few Voyager sets in stash so I have to be very careful dealing with those. Thanks buddy! Spud- Thanks mate! Will do that over the weekend... have ABSOLUTELY no big plan over the weekend finally except to blow the leaves off my lawn. Dicky- True especially those judges who go beyond their duties to find tiny faults. Good thinking! Thanks for the comment! Johnt- Thanks very much! Rob- Thanks boss! Hope I will pick up the pace... LOL

Hi Andy, superb stuff, finally an update ;D. About the fans...well on my previous Tiggy I just painted them black since pretty much nothing will be visible.
If you really want to paint them...would be cool as well!!!! I found out on David Byrdens site that the fan covers aren't primerred as often seen on models, but a kind of greyish blue. The fans itself had a metal color.
Looking forward to next update bud!
Cheers
