Tony- LOL! Thanks! Hope this doesn't offend you... every time I see Larry the Cable Guy I think of you. I am one of his fans...
Wouter- Almost brought that Otto Tiger but I didn't... spent money on WWII relics on eBay instead. Can't have both you know... I am married with two boys for God's sake! ;D
Marc- LOL! Dogs just play catch ball all day until they drop dead... thanks for the nice words.

Hi Andy, Superb work! Truly impressive! There are two things that I want to be able to do well. 1) The first and most important is to have the ability and know how to paint good figures. They don't have to be amazing - just good enough that I feel I could put them with my armour. 2) The second is to be able to work with fiddly PE! I'm fine with grills/vents etc. but tool handles? AAAGGHHH! I get so frustrated! I recall the Dragon padlocks on my Tiger I Turret Bin and they got botched together and looked ok but nowhere near how they were supposed to look. When it came to fitting the Padlocks I looked at the TINY moulded padlock bodies and the even smaller metal PE that was supposed to make up the clasp and nearly cried I decided to leave the padlocks off! Someone (I think it was Wouter) posted me a photo of when they had built the Tiger I'm working on now and they had assembled one entire padlock clasp and were holding it in their finger - it looked amazing! When I can paint a figure like you Andy and install a PE Extinguisher mount without threatening murder I'll be one happy guy! ;D Keep the updates coming, Ben

KT- Thanks... appreciate it! Its not as bad as my first attempt several months ago. It gets better every time you use those stuff. Wouter- LOL! Yes my boys are 11 and 13 years old. Great boys except that they only want to play video games all day. Over my dead body... Armorguy- Married with Children? Are you kidding me?!?!? Al Bundy is my hero... he should be our President. Maybe he will do better job... LOL ;D Yes, I recently started collecting WWII relics... right now its small. Maybe 50 items so far. All of stuff on my Christmas wish list from WWII too except for Blu Ray DVD set of Saving Private Ryan. Maybe one day we should start a thread and share pictures. I want to collect and learn more... Ben- Hey mate! Thanks for nice words! I know you have the ability to paint figures well. It just requires more time and patience... just one figure takes me about 4-5 days each sometimes much longer. You didn't know I do murder people occasionally when I deal with PE... plenty of bad people here in America. LOL I can post step by step how to deal with PE if you are interested. It really helps me too!

Hi guys again! Like I said I have found my mojo and I have been on roll since Saturday. Two hours last night... working on just one of front mud flaps but it was fun! Mud flaps from kit was just OK but too thick. So I opted for Voyager upgrade set. This scared me the most but it wasn't that bad... total of 8 loops. Thanks to the Small Bug bending tool... couldn't haven done any better without it. Also it was used to hold one side to create loops... Then place one of drill bits to help create loops... Repeat using smaller drill bits... I used three before I hit the target. Result... of course I wanted a bent flap. It was not easy because I have OCD and I like to keep things in perfect condition. LOL At the left, that's the kit part... at the right Voyager brass set. You may notice two loops in the center are missing... they were torn off. Damn Voyager PE being so thin and fragile. But I like the look... battle damage you can say! ;D

An hour of that and I'd be blind or crazy or both. Maybe I am already. Looks absolutely beautiful, you sure you've not a bunch of little guys with hammers running around?

ER- Now I am having second thoughts about having it painted. LOL Thanks! Bullardino- Glad you liked the improved version. Thanks buddy! Reserve- Appreciate it... thanks! Yes, I think you can do the same!!! Just take a break every hour... step out with one of your big toys... shoot few into the air... scream... return to your bench. Easy!!! LOL What little guys? They had to return to North Pole few weeks ago but they promised they will be back after Christmas. I can send few to your place but it will cost you... maybe some deer meat?

Nice job on the fender Andy, looks the part and will add some realism to the finish. I hear you about the OCD need for symmetry but so long as you tell yourself it's 'planned' asymmetry you'll be fine!

sure is great work mate, and you defo are better with etch than me! ;D I gave the fenders a try for my Afrika rework on the initial Tiger I and ended up breaking the support pieces in two , ended up using the moulded on ones with the PE plating on top. So, superb stuff mate! And Guy, yes, I do remember Married with children, especially the blonde daughter ;D not sure if Al would be an improvement though...depends, if Romney would have won: defo ;D so far for political statements ;D Keep up the great work on your superb Tiggy bro! Cheers

Bill- 'planned' asymmetry'? LOL That's good one... thanks buddy! Dicky- Thanks mate! I agree... at first I dread doing PE but now I kinda enjoy as long as it extends my favorite part of modeling... building! Some enjoy painting more... not me. Jeez, OCD can be a curse... often I stop in the middle just to clean. Its my ritual to clean my bench and put away tools every night... ;D Wouter- Are you talking about my girlfriend? ;D Be sure to drink couple of Duvel when you deal with those mud flaps again. LOL Appreciate your nice words my Tiggy bro! Boyd- Thanks! Learned all of this from our friends you know who... Tony, Marc, Adam and many more! Watching their work very closely for a long time really helps. Steve- My pleasure always happy to pay it forward what I have learned from others. That's why this forum rocks... John- Thanks my friend! Happy Thanksgiving! Spud- This is why I always remind everybody not to drink and drive a Tiger... LOL Thanks again!

MF72- Glad I made you loose your train of thought... LOL Thanks buddy! Guys- Had a great night... wife spent the night at mother's so she can help her prepare for the Thanksgiving dinner. So no rules here... boys and I were free to do whatever we wanted to do. Anarchy rules!!! Hull is finally complete I think... left mud flap is on. Little friggin' bastard clasp for mud flaps... not fan of my fat fingers. The gun... MG kit part was ugly. Aber AM set to rescue! Just noticed MG brass barrel is little longer... but I like it anyway! I was told ladies usually like things bigger... I wasn't ready to go to bed and it was past 1am... took the dive to create the bucket from Voyager set. One hour later... Now you know how late I went to bed... LOL America, Happy Thanksgiving!!! For my British buddies, I will always be thankful that we are NOT your colony or we would be still drinking tea. ;D

wow, again something I didn't manage to do properly, great lookin' bucket mate! those Aber barrels, always have them in the stash, they are SO cool, aren't they? gonna be the rivet counter again sorry about that : the coaxial mg protrudes way too much out of the mantlet mate! It only needs to stick out by a mm or so mine was even a bit too much hope you don't mind me pointing this out ^^ And talking about your girlfriend: that's her allright ;D Cheers

More nice work in the PE department Andy!
One thing that jumped out at me and you may already be aware of is the position of the muzzle brake on the main gun in your pic showing the coax MG added. Hopefully you haven't secured the barrel yet and can turn it so the brake is positioned with the baffles at the correct alignment!
I know that on some replacement barrels that have the brake threaded on depend on the brake getting added first and then the barrel glued into place so it has the right alignment. Currently your brake needs to be turned 90 degrees to have the baffles lined up properly.
