I would definitely recommend Mr metal color Brass No219 if you can get hold of some it's the best stuff I have used for shells, once dry a buff with a soft cloth really brings out a nice shine.

Sweeeet! You've done it! Everything I managed to screw up 18 months ago you've done perfectly! I quite fancy building another Marder even more now (I found a pack of Marder Friuls so that's one extra reason too). Lovely interior. I'm glad your rear panel fitted ok buddy. What scheme - 'Giraffe Spots'? Top work - result Ben

Hey Carl, I have 3 different sponge types but the one i used on the marder and is my favorite is the grey electronics padding sponge...you know what i mean? I can take a pic of the sponge and post should you need me to. Update fellas!!! I have attached the exhaust pipe and muffler and the jack and tool box. Im about to clean the tools up and decide how im gonna replicate the tool clamps. I have yet to successfully put together PE clamps and ive tried many times... I reckon ill figure out something. I also managed to break part of the gun...Doh!!! Ill fix later. More soon fellas! Gary

I feel for you about the tool clamps. There were only 4 of them on that Tiger I just finished, but they took the better part of 3 working sessions to do.

Your PE box looks fine man,way to go. Griffon makes a sheet of clamps that are just folded, only one or two parts to them.

Gary it really looks great. I am at the tools clamp stage too so depending on who gets to it 1st can inspire the other. Well, at least motivate.

Hey you guys, Many thanks to you...my friends, for dropping in and for the great comments. My fingers tend to snap "Sticky outy bits" pretty regular. Ive got an alternative to the PE clamps im workin' on-em now...So Mr.WN....you can have-em all to yourself! I got to get my hands on the 1- 2 piece Clamps Tony...that sounds more my speed. I get these tools all done and attached ill post an update. Cheers fellas, Gary
