Gary, Pete, Rob... thanks guys. Finished the camo and added the spots for the ambush scheme. My thinking is the either at or some need to be painted over with their respective base color and redone. It was hard to get consistent sizes with 3 different paints and with different consistencies. Hard for me anyway. The camo was fairly easy to touch up. Not sure if I can do that around the edges of tiny spots. I do have an alternation panel in mind. If you guys think I am crazy, by all means... talk me out of it Also... don't the yellow spots look more white than yellow? Maybe I need to use a darker yellow of the allusion of the same color.

The yellow spots do look kinda white Marc but a Future or clear coat will bring the color out sometimes. You might put some clear on a spot or two and see if it does. If you do repaint or on the next ambush scheme try to stagger the spots more. I see several of your spots are almost in a straight line and what you're trying to simulate is sunlight shining through foliage. Listen to me will you, Mr Expert know it all Tony lee

I see a couple of the spots that could use a little "Tuch Up" but overall, they look fine to me. I don't really notice the lighter color of the dark yellow spots. They should blend and darken with weathering.
Great job!

Looking great!!! I won't be too concerned about spots looking too whitish because they will look much darker after dark washes? God, I can not wait to build a KT. First it was Panther now a KT... you are really getting me more confused than ever.

No problem those slightly lighter yellow spots I believe. What Tony says about the Clear is right, after applying it the colors will turn out more vibrant. And then there are the washes...it'll come together !

Wowee! Love that ambush camo Marc Could not get my hands on a kt last year but you really get me thinking of getting one very soon! I would not worry about the spots, like lots a people aleready said: weathering will blend it in. Keep it up. Phil.

I agree with our esteemed Uncle Tony Marc! There's a certain pattern that's obvious when you look at the vehicle as a whole...but if you leave it as-is, the weathering will blend things together and after you add the spare track links and tools/gear, that will also break up some of the pattern all by itself. Before you consider a redo or alterations, dry fit the gear and then see how the pattern looks/feels.

Thanks for the feed back guys. I put the tools on temporarily painted over a few of the dots. I was able to reshape some of the distorted ones by by spraying he color needed in ever smaller circle around the dot and it worked quite well I think. Doing all of that and it doesn't look bad. I just looks so stark but the fad ind and weathering will tone that all down... well.. it better. John... nice video. A great looking model and a thing or two I may try. The turret numbers are on. I put Archer dry transfer crosses 1st and very gently sanded them with 6000 micro mesh to wear them away before I put the numbers. Yo wout... you out there my friend? That pic you posted with the funny fender setup appears to have been taken from a film clip. I found the clip and took a screen shot a little further along and it really shows the flipped over installation of the piece. I was all excited when I found another with the same thing done and I was thinking maybe it wasn't just a one off. Turned out it was the same film but someone flipped the film clip so it was going the other way.

That looks fantastic, Marc. I really love that these big cats never look like they have much detail.... and then you find some, and some more... When you find all that texturing, welding and other little bits - man is that cool!

Thanks guys. That last photo was taken with my phone. Really need to figure out how to lower the color saturation Been working on the weathering the couple of days. Started with the filters, then some fading and streaking... which BTW appear more stark in the photo than in the flesh... and did the pin washes on the turret. The "white" spots did end up "yellowing" enough to match. Opinions and critiques always welcome.

Now, how can I be critical of something as nice as this? It's lovely. What color filters did you use?

Thanks Tony.. ya know... that is better description for my own hair Thanks Mark This is the color... kind of an ocher? The fading, what Mig calls a dot filter, was white and ocher with dk brown and a very dark blue in the shadowy areas. Andy, People are going to think we are some kind of deviants with all this dating and marrying of models... most definitely the wrong kind of "models". But thanks for the thought
