Okay, still cleaning up excess wash and working on sharpening things up. So far: Last thing I did before I came to work today was to glue the tracks together, hopefully get those painted tomorrow. Then dust!

It was from Verlinden, I think. I had it on an OLD Veitnam M48 dio that I scrapped a few years ago. I rolled up three or four lengths of it for storage, and lo and behold, it just happened to be the right size for what I needed here. Well, I'm off to Mason for some wheelin' and won't be at the bench for several days, but I need to cool down after all the crap that's happening on my Armorama thread on this thing. You'd think those guys would be open top new or different techniques, but it seems that if you don't have an airbrush and do a particular pin wash, you ain't $#!+ Okay, I'm better now, or am I being bitchy? BTW Gary, where's the Stug pic taken at?

Thanks, Leon. I shouldn't let it get to me, but I did. Almost took my toys and went home. Oh well, I'm off to central Texas for a few days, away from the internet, which I'm sure will be good for me. See y'all later.

Thanks, Mike. I'm getting close enough on this one that it's time to start thinking about crew and a base, always a good sign. ScaleFest is coming up, and I have that Saturday off, so maybe I'll pick up some figgies. I sure need a BUNCH of good IDF tankies, all periods.

Dicky, I'm in awe.... I had Monday and this morning to play, and got a lot closer to calling this one finished. I'm down to a few bits that I have been painting separately and a TC, unless I see something that bugs me...... In celebration of getting this close, I pulled the old MP Models M50 and a Dragon M4A3E8(105) out of the stash and started the hull, the goal being an M50 on the M4A4 hull, same time period as this M51. Yes Mom I'm crazy.

Leon, Dicky: Thanks! Dicky, I think I've had "something" IDF in progress for the last several years. It's an addiction, I guess.

Yep, I have pics.......
Oops, forget the memory card. Anyway, yes, the M50 is started. I just don't feel right unless I have something else to transition in to.

Kit tracks, Dicky. They have a mold seam on the end connectors and solid guide horns, but they look the part and are almost as flexible as DS and are ONE PIECE. I'm looking for a couple more pair for other projects.....

Thanks, Joe. The tale of woe and distress is all back a few pages. If this one had a name it would be "Drama Queen".
