I have been working on the figure over the last couple of days and he's almost there now just some more work on the flesh areas and the gun, various vallejo colours where used plus lots of references to get the camo right

This is looking superb, Smudge! I love the camo and weathering on the car. Streaking, fading, and camo look outstanding and the figure is coming together smartly! Love it! What you thinkin for the base?

thanks guys glad you like it, been on duty the last three nights so no modelling. Nate I am going with just a simple small base with the figure standing next to the car, nothing fancy

The Coloniale is now ready for it's base and I have also finished off the figure. The canvas top was a pig to fit and I had to add some paper sections painted canvas to fill in some holes behind the frames. I would have liked to see Italeri include a folded top as an option. However the finished vehicle does look rather smart.











The figure turned out nicely and will look great next to the car





The base is in progress at the moment and I am hoping to have it all done today

Thanks guys, It's now all finished placed on a simple base I'm very pleased with the finished model again a nice easy build with the focus on painting and weathering.

Thank you very much chaps your comments really do mean a lot to me, Afv fan painting figures is all about practice, and more practice and then a drop more! I'm by no means a good figure painter but can paint one that looks ok
