Moving along nicely with this one Nate, looking forward to the next steps to see how that hairspray/undercoat turns out.

Ok, did a little work. I decided to lighten this up a little more. I thought it was too yellow so I went with a straight Vallejo Buff highlight coat. I figure it's gonna get a little darker with the filters and other weathering so, I want to start bright and work up to a little darker. I also put a base coat on the tires (Vallejo Black/grey). Let me know what ya think:) ACW

Added Buff treatment looks good to me. You're right about the weathering process generally darkening things, so always better to start a little lighter and have more flexibility to work with vs. the other way around.

Thanks guys, you're too kind:) Over the last couple of days, I've done a little chipping to this beast. I'm working on the slow and steady, less is more method:) When I start getting impatient, I put it away and work on something else, thus there's still a little bit to do (front left and left side wheels). I also still need to paint the seats and roll up tarp/cab thingie. Reference pics show me either red vinyl/leather or a light tan (sun faded) canvas for the seat color. I think I'm gonna go the light tan or perhaps a more brownish light red leather color. Suggestions welcome. Likewise, does anyone have a good color suggestion for the rolled up cab cover. I like the way the wooden deck of the bed is looking/going to look. Thanks for stopping by. Let me know what you think:)

Looking good Nate! As for recommendations on the rolled-up cab cover, I'd go with a nice field-gray (greenish-gray color) for some variation.
