Thanks Mike i have some fencing to add i made this from KFC coffee sticks.I cut them to length then using wood stain i coloured them let them dry and then sponge dabbed them with different colours . DSC07461 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. Now i know this is not the most captive subject but you can still use this method on other things as well. Once happy with the colours i added some straight grain. . DSC07466 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. This breaks up ythe colour a bit. Rgs Mac

I let the grain dry and then added some thin coats of the new AK ship salt and wood stain to tone it down a little. . DSC07464 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. These are from the new ship range quiet handy. I wanted to add some posters under the bridge they would be missed so the fence seemed the next best choice. i glued them on with PVA glue and here they are at the stage were i am putting in rips and stains to age them. . DSC07476 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. More to follow Rgs Mac

Great job I'm looking forward to seeing how you weather the posters, I've never achieved decent results on paper...

Luigi Leon thanks Luigi not as difficult as you think a quick wash of AK DAK streaking grime and a few shallow rubs with a sanding stick and a few wipes with a bit of tissue pics to follow latter.

Thanks Gary ask and they shall reecive heres how the steps started i used two sets from reality in scale. . DSC07452 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. . ithe sealed them in with an outer wall. . DSC07455 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. working out figure positions. .As said quiet away ahead on this heres the posters i only rubbed some AK DAKgrime over them let it settle 5 nin rubbed a bit with tissue and then a sand stick. and i did some nail heads with a sharp pencil pressed into the wood. . DSC07481 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. . DSC07493 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. . DSC07496 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .Again its the small details like moss and tiny shoots of weed. . DSC07489 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .In the end i settled for open railings from billingsboats i looked at a skmall fence a barrier and stones or marker posts railings won here they are at stage 1 of weathering. . .Mac

Had to catch up on the last three pages...sorry Mac. Man this has really come a long way. Love all the stone work, the fence, rail bridge...heck, it all looks great. I had always wanted to do a similar dio using an overhead bridge type thing, ever since I saw one similar by I think Letterman or Paine.
