OK Guys, it's about time I contributed something! I've been working on this one for a while now, it's nowhere near finished but, I thought I'd post just to keep you all updated. It's a vignette on the theme of three SS men taking refuge in a ruined church at the height of the Ardennes offensive. I tried to make the expressions on their faces reflect the fact that there was a 'no prisoners' order in effect with regards to SS and Paratroops. On to the pics so far... The church ruin was carved from a slab of crystacast plaster. This stuff sets rock hard and is a real bugger to carve. I'll keep you all updated as and when I can. All the best, Gary.

Great composition Gary, I love the way you have got the focus for the figures off in the distance, and your coversion/additions to the figures are stunning . I am really looking forward to seeing this great little vignette progress. Dennis

Evenin' all.... Just thought I'd keep you up to date with this one. All the sculpting is now finished, all primed and just needs a bit of a touch-up with the ol' fibreglass pen! On to the pics! This will probably be the last update for a few weeks as my company has decided they have had enough of me and are sending me on a little field trip..You really don't want to know where! Thanks for all the kind comments, guys. They really do spur me on to do better things! All the best, Gary.

Looking good with the primer on. Travel safely wherever you're being sent! I used to think that travel was an exciting part of the job I did (previous job) until they asked me to be in the Philippines on 36 hours notice and I had to fly from Chicago to Hong Kong on a non-stop flight in coach in order to make it happen.
