Hi Boss Steve R. was going to build one and I was looking forward to it but he got his kit from Vinny B. and feels obligated to only post on his site. I check over there from time to time but nothing is happening so i guess he's just busy. Yep pretty cool Tony lee

Yeah Tony Steve has been very busy with casting and other things lately. How's the interior (gun) on this baby ?

The gun is just fine Rob but there's nothing else in there but a big black hole. The engine is only the top half and you could dress it out and leave the hatch open if you like. Tony lee

Carl those guys forget that paybacks are hell Being the guy I am I just put it behind me and got on with the job at hand. The upper portion is installed now and that allowed me to start adding parts for the top side. Those fender end flaps seem to be made from a thinner sheet metal and prone to damage so they're getting the treatment and I even ripped the right front one completely off. Also the kit fuel drum handles are to thick for scale so I bent up some new ones out of scrap PE frame. Much better I think. There's a few more items to install before paint but my tired come down on me and called it a day. Rain is letting up,might get some painting in tomorrow. You folks up there in the north east stay safe and don't over do it digging out. Tony lee PS: Rob I forgot to tell you that the casement hatches are hinged so they open and close.

Coming together very nicely there Tony! The Trumpeter workable tracks are very similar in type/design to the MK tracks (but are not MK's) that I use and once you get in a rhythm with them, they build up in a decent amount of time.

Andy I didn't hear anything. What did it sound like?? Did I just say what I thought I said? Gary for ease of building give her a 10, plus the textures and tracks bonus points. As you know I like lots of parts but I have to consider the Russian code: "Build them simple and make em Work." too. Once I get caught up I was thinking I would get the Tamiya ISU-152 and compare it. Glad you like it guys Tony lee

Looking good Tony. Yeah as long as there is a gun and mount thing, the rest can be scratch built. That dang gun is why I didn't wreck my Tammy kit. I have another 152 kit ( maker ?? 0 so if I get this kit, I can use the gun for the that kit.

Wow, that gun looks great. What a pity there's so little interiors, with that quality it could be great to depict it all open...

Got to love the simplicity of the Russian design here...take 1 large gun, add to existing chassis, build thick casemate around it, shove it out the door! Looking forward to the next update Tony.
