I was accused of holding out on you folks and I should show the projects on the bench. One of them is the SU-152 by Bronco that i'm doing for a Russian GB on another site. It has a limited interior(driver and engine compartment)so i'll save those parts for another day and close this one up. To date the fit has been great and the clean up next to nothing. At the moment i'm painting the lower hull and wheels so I can fit those excellent kit tracks. BTW you get two options for the tracks. There are enough links for the early skip a link guide tooth version which was thrown easily or the later every link guide tooth version with plenty of extra links and pins left over. I think they give you the track options instead of the interior to keep the cost down which is just fine but an interior AM kit would be great if offered. I forgot to paint the suspension arms yesterday so after that's done i'll post an update for you. See ya then Tony lee

LOL! Accuse you? That's a harsh word! LOL Glad you are blogging it here... of course you have my attention!
I am afraid to ask you how many SPGs did the Russkies have during WWII? Germans have one too many but not sure about Russkies...

I haven't really looked into it Andy but the ones I know of are: SU-76,Su-76i,Su-85,Su-100,Su-122,SU-152 and the ISU-152, I plan to do them all. If I could get away from this forum I could bring it on a lot faster guys. Busier than a cat in a sand box. Tony lee

Carl, DS=Dragon Styrene these are plastic. I'll take a picture that shows them and how they go together. The Bronco SU-152 is a easy model to build, even a caveman can do it. Photos later Tony lee

Now then you want to see the progress and get a look see at those Bronco tracks: You get two bags of links: one with and one without guide teeth, four sprue gates each.(see above for the reason) A bag of pins: one pin head is blunt and the other pin head is pointed. The pointed head is the outside pin. One each jig: Lay the links over the studs and insert the pins. A tiny bit of glue on the head of the pin secures it to the link and allows the track to articulate. As I mentioned above you'll have plenty of extras: Finished the lower hull painting and fitted the tracks: It seems the 152s didn't have the sloppy lose adjustment you often see on Russian armor. Three shades of LifeColor Russian Green and one over spray of Earth as a base for the weathering. AK Interactive Steel pigment on the wheel track bearing surface. Time to move up to the top side again Thanks for your attention, carry on Tony lee

I don't know Gary, I did one side in the afternoon and the other side the next morning. I didn't hit them hard because I get up and move around pretty often, check forums, get something to drink and never really keep up with the time. I would assemble a section on the jig and while the pins were drying snip off more links ect.
BJ you can take care of my light work NP just don't leave prints and yes the tracks are a bonus for sure.
Thanks Tobias, I may not get all the details correct but what I do is try not to make a mess of them.
See you folks tomorrow Tony lee

Uncle Tony will do fine Bull I knew Bronco has AM tracks and Wild Bill uses the MKs but this is a first for me. Used a set of DS tracks once, all my models have Friuls. I'll try anything once Tony lee
