These three kits have been sitting in my stash for decades so i figured its about time to build them now . Theres newer and better kits now but these Tamiya kits build up sweet and easy . I ordered pe for each of them to help out with detaisl that these kits lack .Hopefully i can get thru all of the pe with out going nuts ! The pe is in route . When it gets here i'll start a thread on one of these . Issued 1994 .The Stumtiger i started assembly on about 8 yrs ago then i put in the box and forgot about it . I ordered interior details , exterior detail and some pe zim . This will my first with pe zim so it could be interesting . Here's the assembledge i started . I'll need to order replacement tracks for these next two kits . Issued mid 1980's .Sd.Kfz. 7/1 .I ordered detail pe for this one also . I have replacement 20mm barrels by RB models . Issued 1989 . Sd.Kfz. 7/2 .P.e. details comming for this one also plus i have an 37mm replacement barrel for it .Gettin some extra 37 mmm clips and ammo boxes Build is in progress here .................... modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/3844/tamiya-sd-kfz-half-track

WOW! You will be one busy man! Oh, you are feeling the pressure that Uncle Tony is doing three builds? LOL
I have that Sturmtiger kit in stash and I think it is still a great kit! Count me in of course... good luck buddy!

Glad you approve guys . It should be a fun adventure . I'll be running three separate threads . Andy I dont think i can run the three builds at the same time like ole Tony though . I think he has all of that energy because he's youger than me ............ Garius thats cool about the DML Sd.Kfz. 7/2 . Griffon makes a full load of pe detail sets for that kit . By the time you got thru buying it all youd have 4 times the price of the kit invested though . But it looks like some really choice brass . Where's that Marder update ?

Nice set of triplets! The Tamiya HTs will have some motorization legacies in them as I recall...but shouldn't be an issue for King Carl! Looking forward to all three get their time in at the bench.

Bill , yup those H.T.'s are some real antiques of our model building world arent they ! I was surprised to find the pe for them . They should look descent as long as they arent turned over to see that early Tamiya non running gear detail . Big John , the Sturm looks like a descent kit doesnt it . I'm looking forward to getting back to building it .

Best of luck on the trio, Carl. The ST shouldn't be a problem, but the other two, with full PE, are going be a real test in the power of Cheeto's!.... especially back to back builds!

Vintage Tammy stuff, eh? They sure are a nice break from the tedious hundred thousand tiny part Dragons and can be made to look great to boot. I'm in
