1/24 49 Ford. rust bucket.

this is a commission that i am doing for Deluxe Materials. Car has been painted in gloss burgundy,then over sprayed in matt rose. Then hairsprayed and given a coat of grey. then scraped away in a random fashion. Interior was painted in two tone brown and distressed with buff and the use of filters and pigment powders.
After this has dried over night i will be using their rust treatment to rust this thing out followed by more filters pigments and washes.
This is it so far.

Well guys done some more to this in the last two days,well quite a lot to this infact. All thats left to do is weather the windows and some rain marks here and there. Oh and set it in its own little home.Pigments and washes have been flying.

Hope ya all like it boys. It looks a bit like my 59 Buick when i first got it from the states. Ah i know what rusty car im doin next. I loved doin this and it has really renewed my mojo. As long as your enjoying it its job well done.
This will be the new advert for Delux materials so hopefully you will see it around in the mags.
