What a great looking halftrack you have, Carl Dust and dirt are awesome. Lui , how you doing ? Good to hear you like the way it looks . I did this one a little different than I have been doing the weathering in the past .Looks like it'll be the method I use now unless I figure out something better . Thanks again !

Gar , thanks bro ! I had my doubts about doing any weathering on it to begin with .
Not much going on here as far as bench time . I've got a little 7 yr old grand daughter keeping me busy for a few days . I'll be checking in when she allows me .

Yep we've got the Blue Ray movie and I watch it on utube all the time,we love it. Tony lee We bought the DVD when it first came out and then the CD with all of the songs from the movie on it . I'm going to break out the movie again and watch it . I had forgotten about it till you said the "soggy bottom boys " . That guy Everett I mentioned was a shipmate of mine . Good memories Tony . That movie is poking fun at my kin folk. But I love it............

I used Bills idea and "glued " these little teeny tiny latches on this box instead of contending with the mess of c.a. I sat the parts on the surface in their approximate position and then flowed Future on them with a brush . There was plenty of time to put them in their final positions .

Nice little PE detail work there Carl! Just be careful not to handle them too much during the assembly...that's the only downside to delicate PE on gun mounts!

Here's the kit 37 mm flak barrel and flash suppressor along side the replacement from RB Barrels . Now I know why I spent the money to replace the kit part . It's cristal clear, the right part looks 10 times better than the left one ! All those strange holes, no the right one looks defo the best !

Finally !!! Good grief that p.e. takes a while to cut off , bend , glue , remove if not positioned correctly , twing into space , crawl around on hands and knees , re attach ........and that's just one part . Anyway I slogged my way thru the p.e. . and due to all of the time it took I'm posting more pics than I probably should so please indulge my gloating . I used the Eduard set 35489 which has all of the p.e. for the Sdk.Fz.7/2 and the flak 37 . Its a really nice p.e. set with 4 frets of p.e. parts and a printed on paper gauges for the dash .
