1/24th scale structures

[Ray Dunakin]

Here are a few photos of some scratch-built structures on my 1/24th scale In-ko-pah Railroad. First is a bakery called Cora's Cakes, which has a detailed interior and lighting:




This next one is a miner's cabin, based on a prototype in Ione, NV. It's made almost entirely of styrene, which has been textured and painted to resemble aged, weathered wood:






Here are some structures in the town of Dos Manos. You can also see some of the figures I've sculpted. The seated figure was patterned after my brother, and the couple in front of the hotel are me and my wife:




This last shot shows the detailed and lighted interior of Sam's Rock Shop at night:

Wow Ray superb work buddy the pics look real hard to tell if they are models LOL im a fan of model structures and yours is up there with some of the best i have seen looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future

Thanks! Yes, these structures are all outdoors, year-round. (I know, I'm nuts!)
