Well... My car was parked in the street where I live when this morning a woman driving an SUV failed to pass the car without touching it...she said it was slippery but I tend to think it was more a matter of bad driving skills oh well, good things is the car was in need for a new bumper and now I'm probably getting one Cheers

her insurance will be paying, that's for sure. And it is the street indeed . I think the car was just too big for her lucky me, I was considering buying bigger rims for the ride, glad I didn't buy them yet, otherwise they would have been ruined as well probably Cheers

Yeah surprised she stopped... it doesn't happen often here. I'd be more than happy to trade my ten years old car for yours.

So sorry to see those pics Wouts but like DP says you're lucky she stopped!
Some places not far from me they would have simply stolen the car, not scuffed it!

A real pain in the neck Wouter as the guys have said, it's amazing that she stopped Someone swiped the whole side of my car leaving damage just like that but drove off. Cost me a lot of cash to put it right

yeah I know, she was decent to leave a note (car was parked and I was sleeping after a night shift), someone drove against the car earlier one last year and just continued, and no one had noted the license plate... Andy, well, my Wawdi ain't much younger dude, only by four years oh well, all in all it wasn't such a bad day...bought a ring with a nice shiny rock and proposed to me girl, and guess what: she said yes Cheers

thanks guys, well, if I really had loads of money, I'd sure gave a big party with all the MSC club invited ...sadly though, I ain't that rich...broke since I bought the bling for the lady Boo: yeah, I here ya mate...lots of people don't seem to know how to drive properly or for that matter know traffic rules...it really annoyes me big time! It's best they all stayed home so we had more road ey . I read on the forum your 'kiss' with the buss, glad it's all sorted though . And my bumper already had some scratches and dents from others while parking or so, so very pleased that I'm getting a new one now Bill, nope, it was a black one, why? You ain't driving a blue one, are ya? (just kidding ). Was intentially going to wait untill the 14th, but in hindsight that would have been too obvious. And when I went buying the ring I had my little daughter of 2,5 years with me, and changes were too big she would tell it to my girl before I asked her Gary: I hope she knows: after all we have an almost three year old together AND a cat Cheers

No blue SUV here Wouts, just trying to do a little forensic work off the photos...looked like some blue transfer in the lower corner is all. Nice decision regarding the little one being aware...2-3 yr. olds aren't great at keeping secrets!

Spud, do you mean with the word 'greatness' 'Audi' Defo Thanks for the congrats btw fellas ^^ And CB: no marriage in Church mate, just for the community , Like the Guard of Honor idea though! Andy, no tracklinks please, or we'll end up in hospital Tojo, she sure knows, she even encourages me well...I thought I'd try to get the garage replace the front bumper with a sporty S-Line bumper but they are not willing to do that, bummer! , I mean, the woman's insurance pays, so who cares ey oh well Cheers

Wouts,...re the bumper, that may constitute a fraud on the garages part,so I'm not surprised they wouldn't do it!!!!

yeah I know , but they are trying to let me pay for the grille although that's part of the bumper as well ...I didn't mind paying a little extra to get the S-Line bumper but they even wouldn't consider that, quite idiotic...besides, a little fraud, hey, there are far more worse things happening in the world ey (just kidding, well in a way ) Cheers
