Thanks for the kind words everyone! @dickyf, I did use the voyager model PE35353 that I found pretty cheap on e-bay, it got tons of pe some I use and some I just keep for other projects. I scratch a couple of thing like the water deflector, the vent closing whatnot on the rear on the engine bay and towcable clamps even if there was some in the kit...Just used their plan hehe. I also bought the miniarms t-72 tracks since I wanted to try them out....they look good but the resin they are made of is very britle....we`ll see I guess. The main gun I got from jbmodel for 8 bucks...not sure about the lenght but since the turret is not close to the right shape I don`t really care IT LOOKS GREAT! Hope nobody is counting rivet on the turret! The voyager is for the tam kit but I`m sure it would fit just about any kit with minor fuss.So I would say go for it you`ll find plenty of detailing...I haven`t use half of it.
Phil.

Thanks Tojo, indeed the tam tracks are not as detailed as the miniarm! Here is some progres on the smoke discharger wire. I`ve scratch a small junction box tha was missing on the tam turret. smoke01 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr Thanks for watching! Phil

A lovely start. When I see this good looking stuff I think if I were to ever get out of WWII German armor (yeah right) I could see me doing post-war Soviet stuff.

Wing_nut, It is in fact my first real build post WWII. I did a bradley M2A2 as a test model when I returned to modelling about 1 and a half year ago. A model that I will surely repaint in a near future. I must admit I did order a cyber hobby panther II lately. Can`t seem to get out of that era... Phil.

Indded Master Windu! I`ve connected the smoke dischargers to the main wire but it does look...not quite right... After a talk with the Boggs Master I decided to use the tip he gaved me in his infinit wisdom. I`ll try with very thin streched sprue on the other side and if it is more to my likeing I`ll correct the other side. See for yourself...I`m nor content with those results. smoke02 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr This is the left side wich I`ve started this morning. smoke03 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr Thanks for watching and comments, good people of MSC!

Hey Brother Phil, I had a close look on your Flickr page and the discharger wireing looks sweet to me. Are you worried about the scale being to big...or something else? Nice job anyhow! Gary

Hey Brother Phil, I had a close look on your Flickr page and the discharger wireing looks sweet to me. Are you worried about the scale being to big...or something else? Nice job anyhow! Gary Thats exactly what is bothering me... the wire between the main wire and the smoke discharger sould be half the size....I doesn`t look that bad but, you know me...I want to at least try to make smaller ones. Thanks for the good words bro. Thanks Edi, much apreciated.

Yeah bro, i see what ya mean now. Looks great but your like me....if i know its there it will drive me bananas if i dont fix it...not for everyone, just for me! You too right? Gary Yeah Gary, it does that too! I got some progres on the wires...I`ve done the right side entirely of streched sprue...still some cleaning and toning to do. I do have to wait till the cement is cured to do the final touch up but, take a look! smoke04 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr This is the right side with the sprue. I`ll cut them in a fashion they wont seem to be ``glued on`` as much. smoke05 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr Compare to the electric wire. smoke06 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr I kind of like both...Maybe I`ll paint it as it is...Anyway this t-72 turret is a test ground for future build This way I can see both final result. Ho! I did bore the smoke discharger top a little to give them some detailing....Any toughts on that? Thanks for watching! Phil.

Dicky Thx Mate! I been starring at walk arounds for a couple of day to make the smoke disch. wire route Now I`m takling a wonderfull chalenge Gary: Nah...Iwant to see what each side looks like when painted...I do like the bended metal wire, even if they are a tad too big. Here is where Ì am at: finishedturret01 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr finishedturret02 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr finishedturret03 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr finishedturret04 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr finishedturret05 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr Next.....indy miniarm tracks, I don`t even know if I should use glue on those. Supposed to be workable but seem weak...Guess I`ll find that out soon. Thanks for watching. Phil.

Hmmmmm, tried a couple of the miniarm indy links....You know the feeling when you hesitate between crying and pure undilluted madness. SERENITY NOW! Those are crappy, lots of them have already broken details and putting two links together without breaking the pins is long and almost impossible... On the bright side they do look good when assembled and they are workable when not broken.

Dang Phil, that sucks about the miniarm tracks. Are they brittle, thin, or just poorly made? Hope you get through ok. Gary

Got one side done....It does look good but even if they are cheap I will try something else next time. Magic tracks are not workable but they look just as good.
