Sorry to hear about the track frustrations...workable tracks can be both blessing and curse depending on the brand, the track type, and the number/complexity of the links involved. Hang in there!

Thanks for the support People! much apreciated. The second side went suprizingly well. In fact it took me 10 min and I did not break any pins I really have mixed feelings with those minarm tracks 50/50 But one thing for sure they don`t expect you to loose some or break some : 3 link left! Finally they look real good, that I must say. tracks03 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr tracks02 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr tracks01 par asmodeuss, sur Flickr As soon as the wife`s get up I`ll spray some primer on there. Or maybe I can muff the compressor Yeah a real good idea hehe Phil.

thanks All for the great comments DeafP, they are miniarm tracks....They were a fuss the first couple of hours and then I don`t hate them as much....Go figure. Dicky, I`m sure you`ll find some to suit Gary`s unconventional size....maybe in an outlet or something Beret and baguette are easy. Gary! The force was strong Master I`ve started the masking process....teadious(is that how we write that? ) More soon! Phil.

Looks pretty good from here. Did these vehicles typically have a hard-edge scheme? Not too current on Cold War camo practices.

Looks pretty good from here. Did these vehicles typically have a hard-edge scheme? Not too current on Cold War camo practices. Dear Wbill, The hell if I know! Seriously most I`ve seen are monochrome scheme or blak and green. I got just about 1 ref for this paint scheme: www.armyrecognition.com/Russe/vehicules_lourds/T-72M1/T-72M1_Russe_diaporama.htmI really just loved the look of it .... It is hard edge, however I never saw a picture of this camo on the real deal...Maybe this is a paper camo If someone out there got some intel...go ahead and post it here. Thanks for the good words mate. Phil.

I'd say you had the perfect motivation for leaving it as-is then instead of going hard-edge, it looks good and will provide an excellent foundation for weathering.
