Good Day Folks!
I am working on the Tamiya F-51D Mustang (Korean War). On the painting guide, it calls for Tamiya AS-12 - Bare Metal Silver. I am not able to locate this, what would you suggest has an alternative?

Alclad has very good metal paints.

Alclad is your best option but if you're looking for something in a rattle can, the Humbol silvers are pretty good.

I suggest Alclad too. A couple of different shades to make some panel stand out, and the trick is done  |

Steve,if you're using Tammy paints,the X16 chrome silver will be good enough,and then tint it with other Tammy metallics,to get your panel variations.Or you can look at the Humbrol Metalcotes. |

Thanks all, for the awesome information! I was looking at the Alclad display at the LHS, I will have to give those a try, soon has I get my airbrush working again.
