Good Day Folks!
I am working on the Tamiya F-51D Mustang (Korean War). On the painting guide, it calls for Tamiya AS-12 - Bare Metal Silver. I am not able to locate this, what would you suggest has an alternative?
Thanks in advance,
-Steven

Alclad has very good metal paints.

Alclad is your best option but if you're looking for something in a rattle can, the Humbol silvers are pretty good.

I suggest Alclad too. A couple of different shades to make some panel stand out, and the trick is done

Steve,if you're using Tammy paints, the X16 chrome silver will be good enough, and then tint it with other Tammy metallics,to get your panel variations.Or you can look at the Humbrol Metalcotes.
