Hi All, I've been a little quite on the forum the passed few months, only chipping in every now and then. I'll explain the thread, I've only just returned to work after being off work for 5 months because of a Heart Attack and post viral fatigue syndrome. They tend to put the dampers on things and yes put things into perspective. Because I've had a lot to think about I've decided to do two threads on MSCF one on figures and the other on the Scratch Build Board, it'll help me simplify my time on the internet making it easy to find my stuff and not clutter up the place. I promise it ain't an ego thing. So just to start i'll put some stuff up to show you guys where i'm up to. If you can't see pic it's because I need to be a member of Mensa to use Photo bucket at the mo, i'll work on it. (sorry) With any luck I should be able to contribute to the site with more builds on a more regular basis. This guy most have seen before. This guy was done but not completely finished This was my first finished figure. And this guy is my latest ive been trying to finnish but he's been stripped twice, dropped and broken so other than painting his watch and goggles I'm done with him. Next month he will be standing in a mates display cabinet as he likes it. Comments always welcome and i'll try and answer any questions.

Leon and Bill, thanks for looking in. I'm working on my own bust at the mo (pics to follow) and thinking of starting a bust I bought about a year ago (something a little different)

Steve, Cheers for looking in matey. I'm on the mend I just hope my modelling improves as well as my health. Andy, The camo takes a little time but I'm happy with it, still room for improvement tho. The Evolution figure are cool and worth the money I think. Well These are the figures on the bench at the moment one at the beginning one at the middle of the build and one near the end. This one I started a while ago then just got lost with it but she's nearly done. The pound coins just for scale. This one I started on another thread but I had to stop, it needs a fair bit of clean up, but it's my own work and i'm learning loads. This is the one I have just started, a little weird but looking forward to painting it. It's pinned ready for putty on his face and a little fixing on his dagger scabbard. Comments welcome, Oh and it's good to be back at the bench (kitchen table)

Hey Luigi, I've seen a couple of really clever versions of the Bunny, mine well fade into mediocre by comparison. She's still a lovely figure.
Paul, cheers for looking in fella, I'll hopefully have updates later this weekend.

Ok just a quick update, Oooo! I've just added the muzzle cloth and drilled it for the mounting post. I've also worked out how Milliput make their money like Heinze and Colemans you always put to much on ya plate and waste it. I had a lump the size of a musket ball tonight, I mean what do you do with that? And a little filler to cover up my hand fisted clumsiness.

Hi Mark,
The Weird dood is by Roberto Chaudon it's called "the Grinder" to be honest that's all I know. I don't think he's a character from anything just something from his imagination. To be honest it's a chance to work on my leather painting and i'm thinking tribal tattoo's.
Cheers for looking in fella.

Mark, lol, Andy, cheers, it's good to have you looking in. Well I started in earnest tonight by getting some paint on this one. I usually use a base coat of Titanium White and Flesh tint mix in oils but I thought I'd go with washes of vallajo Basic skin tone 815. The eyes have been blocked in with Light flesh 928. It all looks a little rough to start but it'll come together. (I hope) More washes tomorrow and the pupils should be going in. comments and questions more than welcome!

Andy and Bill, Thank you fellas for looking in. Well another small update. They say the eyes are a window to the soul, well I hope when this is finished it'll look like he ain't got one. It's just the start Light Flesh for the Whites, The devil of all paints Black for the pupils and a light first wash of Alizarin Crimson for the red. The pupil in right eye as you look at it needs to be a tad bigger and a little tidy up with the base coate before the oils get thrown at it. All comments, questions and ideas welcome guys, cheers for looking.
