Dicky and Leon thank you, What's scary my painting standard or the fantastic sculpting. Any hoo, while I'm waiting for my grey matter to get into gear with skin tones on the weird fella so I thought I'd start finishing the bunny with a bat. I finally sorted out how to base it so she's on a street corner type setting. The base took about half an hour and I think I rushed it, but I want it finished for my local club night this Thursday!!

Perfect timing to finish it up. Easter Day is only a week away... you have made Easter fans happy. Think it is best for you to keep it away from Dicky... can't promise you if he will behave.

Evening All, Cheers for the comments Mr Multicam, I am really sorry I didn't reply I've been neglecting my own thread. Ok, Other than taking this to my belt sander to neaten up the back this is ready for primer. Left, right and front. Maybe with primer the detail will show. I'm looking forward to painting the thing now. all comments welcome.

Andy, I'm 41 and think Halo is cool and it's because I like it so much that this has turned out nothing like my original idea. Well this looks rougher than a badgers bum after a night on the Guinness. But I'm done with the building bit. The primer went on tonight. I feel like I have learnt so much on this one the next should be a little better and a lot neater!

Leon and bill thank you and sorry I've been AWOL. Right I've been thinking (it's not for everyone) winter camo. So I went out got a tin of Hair spray, raided the kitchen for some salt and a sieve. I've done it back to front but as this was always an academy piece i'll go over it with the primer and fix where I ballesd up. Start, I sprayed the base white with hair spray and sprinkled a little salt. Middle, a lot of salt, hairspray and hope. and the end product, we have white, light grey, green and a little black grey. Not very wintery but I can fix that. It's not great but it must have done something it, I can't work out the details. all comments welcome guys. mack

Cheers Andy,
Don't get me wrong I'm happy with it but it need to be simpler in the pattern.

It does have that digital-pixelated feel to it but I think what throws it a bit 'off' is somewhat uniformity and circular pattern in the close-up photos. Of course the camera's going to exaggerate that, but it may be what you're also seeing in terms of wanting the pattern to be a bit simpler. Having said that, it does look good and in-scale to me from here.

Cheers Bill,
I think feed back is always helpfull, it either confirms what we already think of our work or gives us something to think about! when I get back off me holiday I'll pick out the square bits of salt and place them rather than scatter them. And see how that changes things:-D Thank you for the input!

Mack it looks ok to me, perhaps a bit uniform but I think, like Bill said, the camera has exaggerated it
