Hi guys ,went to this show yesterday and it was a great day. One thing not so good was the foodvan had broken down so only tea and coffee on site but there was a garage with food across the road and a pub also which compensated for it. It is showing of late that traders are down at shows in the latter part of last year and this year but you can still find a bargain with the ones that turn up.Saying that there were still a good few traders at the show. Met Chris B there yesterday which was a suprise. Glad to hear you have chucked out the fags mate,keep it up.
As for the models on show,WOW there was sure some talent there. both on the displays and in the comp. Congrats to Ken Holland for getting a Bronze in armour. If there is enough interest for them i will post up some pics,as it takes me quite a while. If not then no worries.

Post those pics up Andy. The Shows and events board is just for that, for shows. Sounds like you all had a good time...even with the food van issue..lol.

What Andy neglected to tell you fellas,was the fact he picked up some more gongage!!! ..2 Golds for his E10 Flak,and 'Lest we Forget',and Best in Show...

I wasnt going to mention my good fortunes at this show Chris and i thought you had left before the judging was anounced.Dont want people to get fed up with me. Hence no more comps this year until perhaps Telford.
It was a great honour to recieve Best of Show again after last week .I feel very fortunate that people like my models so much but the last thing i want is for people to see me at a show and think oh no not him again ,thats why i am going to just display or go as a punter now for the foreseeable future.Anyway enough of my dribble and here are some pics.

Dickie the blue camoed chevy was built and painted in 1982 as was the truck with the kuble in the back.This bloke must have been way ahead in his day as they look like they were done in todays standards.

Always love seeing photo spreads like this, they are a virtual 'stand-in' for shows since they are rare in my neck of the woods. Thanks for posting Andy!
