hey thanks! the body is painted white everything else is decals. the top part is 3 big decals. May i ask what you used for clear coat and did you wetsand and buff? If so what grit W/D sanding paper and polishing compound do you use? Just looks amazing and im gonna venture out of my armor comfort zone soon and do a '68 Mustang GT and i want to do the paint job correctly. Thanks JR/JT Gary

I use dupli-color acrylic enamel, and sand it out with 2000 grit.
then I use some tamiya course compound. and finish with turtle wax "polishing compound" in the round green container. going over it as many times as it takes to get a nice finish. I also use meguiars "scratch-X" but I ran out of it.
if you wanna paint car models you can't go wrong with dupli-color paints.

One last Q?....how long did you let the Acrylic enamel clear cure before wet sanding and polishing? Thanks alot bro! Gary

I modified the kits full-face helmet. I weathered it lightly to have the used 70's vibe to it lol
