Here is my "workshop". A real mix of good stuff and collected junk that meets a need. It is seriously one of my favorite places to spend time- all the more fun when I have some modeling friends over. It is built to allow a few guys to work at a time. Spray booth will go here (see the vent hole in the wall). Need to get a break from casting to set this up. My happy place! :-) Steve

Spud: The interesting thing about Steve's room is the fact if you look under the bench in picture 3 you'll see the box for the Dora. And here the man was wondering where is is going to put a 1/16th su100 thinking it might be too big (from the "in your dreams" thread). ;D ;D Steve: that is a great layout you have there. Ken: I started out on the drafting board (well actually at the bench first) and I love it still even though I have been using 2D/3D CAD for 25 years. Cheers, Thom

Thom- Yep there is a DORA under there- but it belongs to Bob Burnside. :-) I am storing it for him.
The kits behind the furnace are the club parts bin :-)
But to be fair- Todd is correct... I have a few Russian tank kits. 3 years ago I moved here with a stash of 12 kits. Then I started hanging with the "wrong crowd". :-)
Thanks for the nice comments. I am getting some great ideas from the other pictures too.

Ken- I'll give you credit for a great memory and an eye for detail!
Ken & Rob-
I did the one shelf and I really like that- the top shelf is now exactly the correct size for a standard 1/35th scale tank kit. No wasted space!
I will be able to build the EXACT same shelf that will be 6 " deep out of the leftovers. That will hold a load of paint. Also you can see that I can push the upper shelf back which gives me like a 10" horizontal area which can be used to work on in a pinch.
I'll do the others at some point- but shop re-modelling keeps taking a back seat to other jobs.

Well fellas After seeing all those great work spots I'll show you mine This is where construction happens: in the living room of our appartment. Spraying and other smelly stuff happens on my old bedroom at my mums house. Soon to be changed to the basement of our house when we move in beginning of March Cheers

Hi Mate, we always get this, but hes not a lab ......he looks like one but hes a rotty crossed with a springer, which just means you get a big dog thats completely stoooopid. The man cave is only that clean because the fuhrer insisted i clean it before i put the picture on the site Chris the picture is Scotland Forever by Lady Butler. a great painting, i have a few of hers, like the Thin Red Line Paul

You know what Boo-
I need a "satellite office" too. My wife won't come down to the dungeon- and if I spend too much time down there in a given week she starts to wonder where I've gone!
That is a nice option- and your carpentry looks really tidy!
