Hey there MSCer's!! OK...need to explain a bit. I decided to enter the SMA Big Spring Contest this year. To add to the fun, I decided to do something outside my comfort zone! After talking with a good friend of mine, said friend thought he would offer up something from his stash to me. This is one of three that he came up with and I took it upon myself to give it a go!! Sooooo, here is the 1/3700 Battlestar Valkyrie, from the Battlestar Gallactica Series. A little peek at the kit: And that pile of parts is suppose to look like what? For Discussion purposes only I am sure that I can add some details here and there to help this on its way... I have 3 months to finish this (and at least one other I thought was a novel idea to enter)!! OK then...time to get this party started!! Woo Hoo!! Thanks for having a peek!!

Did you hope inside that thing!!! Awesome!! Oh man...i woulda give my left nurt to get inside that thing. It was at the Patton museum right before the big move. They would run me outa there., but it was my favorite tank there. In the same condition when they dug it up. Still has waffle Zimm in parts and original red oxide primer...VERY COOL! Gary

Thanks for hanging out Luigi!! I need to start small as this is pretty much the only Sci-Fi thing I have gone after!! Thanks Steve!! Nice one...Enterprise would make a nice build...especially from you my friend!! If I end up liking this, I may end up buying at least one or two nice kit..Fine Molds SW things or something. Just testing the waters a bit!! Thanks Tobias!! Typically the 3 month deadline would not be so bad, but, I do have one more with a possible 1 to 2 more planned in the same time frame...all in fun!! Everything but one is outside the comfort zone!! Plan on two to start and see how it goes!!

Right Boss!! Is was this or a kit as old as you of an X-wing! LOL!! I don't mind work but a complete rehab...not! Will revisit this subject when the contest is over, just maybe a higher end kit like Fine Molds. I think the whole thing that interests me about these things is the weathering!!! AK need a space line!!! LOL...Keeping it fresh Andy...only thing, it's like fresh fish!! Smelly...and it will only be good if it's cooked!! Beer? Mmmm.....why Space Barley of course!! Making life harder ER...definately!! Filler is not the word for it. Panel lines need to be nicked and I chopped a couple small things off already...not the best kit I have seen....curious what will become of it!! LOL!!!
