Thanks Dicky!! LOL...would have responded sooner but I needed to find the thread!! Think you are right. Encore just mixed and matched and voila!! Thanks CB! I was wondering about that. As I searched for info on the subject the Sopwith would show up even on the Fokker search. Like jackwagon had mentioned Encore must have bought all the stuff and slapped it in a pretty box!! Thank Leon!! Appreciated!! Hey Boss!! Yeah I am all over it seems!! I do feel some destruction coming on though. Not this one at least!! LOL!! Thanks Gary!! Most appreciated!! Not the biggest of updates here but it is something!! ;D I managed to get the wings together, sanded and some of the tiny PE eyelets installed. Also I revisited the engine for a bit this afternoon and installed the spark plug wires. Working the inside of the fuselage at the moment. Hoping to get the cockpit going soon! Thanks for stopping in!!!

Thanks Andy!! These are great looking aircraft!! You would figure the cockpit would have a hole in the seat on these....you would have to have some BIG ONES to want to wage war in these things!! LOL!!! I mocked it up last night and got that warm and fuzzy feeling....can't wait to break out the AB!!!A little Softball practice tonight and then back at it!!

LOL...Thanks Joe!! OK, a little update. Been fitting this one in around numerous projects but still progressing. I managed to get started on the interior. After some masking I heated up the ABA to tackle some of the plywood areas. Some of the frame work... After the base coat dried on the wooded areas, I applied some oils to make an attempt at some grainy effects; Once the oils dry I will apply a clear coat and start some of the interior wears!! As always, thanks for stopping by!!

Thanks fellas!! I can't wait for the oils to dry now!! These old one are pretty fun!!
4 - You may have deduced this already, but best guess is a Roden Kit marketed by Encore supported by Squadron! Like Accurate Miniatures using the Eduard molds.

The resin part are molded decent the only concern I had was the block was a bit chunky on a couple of pieces and too a bit more care to remove. As for "old fashioned modelling technique", do you mean actually sanding and fitting pieces...LOL!! I love a kit that falls together more than the next guy but rarely shy away from a little extra elbow grease. You might have seen a couple of threads here called the "Duel" Part I & II. The Boss and I have corresponding armor kits, one being older and one being brand new. First time out the Boss had the junky old one and I the new...this time I have the old!! Shows that it all depends on what you put into the build that makes the difference.
I have some time slotted for this bird to move forward today. I need to shoot a couple of clear colored coats on the wood to seal it and I can move onto some instrumentalists.

Thanks G & Mark!! Sorry for the late reply on this! LOL!! Still slacking a bit here but I managed to get a couple of items a little closer. A light wash to the interior side walls. The seat mounted and belts on. The belts need some weathering too soon. A little bit of the cockpit put together. I will plug away at this section this morning and see what I can get done. Thanks for dropping in!!

Sweet job, Todd The office will be a stunner when you will put it together. And luckily it will be easy to see, that's the nice thing of those WWI wingies.

Builds like this remind you of just how primitive things were and how far they've come since! Nice work there Mr. T!
