Well after the show this weekend (took 3rd place with my Hummel) I have realized I have hit the armor wall. I think Im kinda burnt on it for a while so I have to shift gears to my other love......aviation. Got the MAZ part 2 on hold for now. Next stop wingy things.

Gary - thanks mate
Luigi - Well, I usually build 1/48 and 1/32 and have a stash full of those. at the show this weekend I spotted Trumepters 1/72 Fairy Gannet...its so ugly i fell in love with it and just ordered the masks and interiour color PE set so I think thats next up and Ill eneter it into the show on April 27th dependig on how it shapes up.

Congrats with the award! Good idea about starting with smaller scale if you are feeling little burnt out. Quick fun build will help save your mojo... looking forward to it even tho I am not wingy and ugly like you.

Congrats on the gong Bob. As for hitting the wall....well we all get burnt out at some point. I get that quite often where I have no mojo or interest.....but then I see a cool model here being blogged, or new painting/weathering products come out and I'm off and running again. I may also take a break from armor and do either a wingie or ship, just to take a short break and come back fresh. Might be what you need too.

I understand your passion for strange planes The gannet is a plane I like, it has the distinctive british flavour

Congrats on placing Bob! It's always good to be able to switch around to avoid burnout, just close your eyes and do the eenie-meenie method for selecting your next wingy victim.
