I've tried several and I always come back to my Tamiya cutters. They are the best in terms of working with delicate parts and creating a 'clean' cut IMHO.

I have used Xuron cutters for years and then tried a pair of Tamiya Cutters (model no 74093 the ones with grey handles) earlier this year and IMHO the Tamiya cutters are better. They give a much cleaner cut And are definitely first choice for me. HTH

I've been using side cutters bought at Michael's Craft Store, in their beading department. Great cutters, and a heck of a lot cheape than the sprue cutter you but in model stores. Those and a #11 blade on an x-acto knife are all 'ya need!!! www.michaels.com/Side-Cutter/bd0936,default,pd.html?start=3&cgid=products-beads-tools-cuttersandcrimpers ...make sure to get the 40% off coupon and save a ton!!!
