Ok, so I ordered my first batch of AK Products last night.
I oredered the following,
Dark Streaking Grime Dark Wash for green vehicles Fuel Stains Nato weathering set and streaking grime set
Do you think this should cover weathering Olive Drap, or is there someting else I might need?

BJ...think your covered for now!!!! Nice grab!!! Problem I do see, is that when you get the stuff and start using it, you won't be able to stop yourself from buying all the other stuff they have!!!

I'm with Ken on the PanzerGrau filter and wassh. I use them the same way. I also will use the streaking for certain things. The colors you have will work fine for OD green. I'll be using the same on my M-26. Also you might want the Engine set too. These will work great for the wet grease areas on wheel hubs.
Like T said, you'll find yourself ordering more of the stuff once you start using them. LOL

Thanks guys.
Ken, I had given the panzer gray set a thought. Seams I have read some where about using panzer gray with US olive Drap.
And to the rest of ya! It took a while to place the order as I couldn’t make up my mind, LOL. Working here on a budget so I couldn’t order one of every thing. LoL
I do plan on ordering more soon. I think the engine oil and metal set will be next.

hope you got better luck with the panzer grey set as I had. I used the AK Color Mod set for panzer grey for the first time today. I shaked the bottles vigourisly and several times, but when spraying I noticed that the pigments weren't all dissolved, no matter how hard I shaked the thing: result: raw pigments came out of the AB and loads of splatter: luckily it wasn't on the model but on a piece of cardboard... quite a shame though since the first color bottles sprayjob was promising...I'll stick with Tamiya or Vallejo paints next time Cheers

Wout's, you might want to raise the comp pressure. I found this to be helpful. Don't give up on them yet bud.

Hi Rob: I tried that mate: tried every pressure in between 1 and 4 bar: lot's of pigments comin' out and when the ab was almost empty it even splashed harder. Quite big chunks really: and I kept on shakin' but no difference: I sprayed the shadow coat and that one went on fairly easy: I was quite happy with that. But the base grey coat wasn't fun at all. Luckily I didn't ruin the NP with that! Cheers

Wouts, I just found out that the first initial batch of PG CM paints have been giving problems. Check the AK forum for the reply from Carlos. Seems others have had that prob as well. I haven't used mine yet so I don't know if they are ok or not.

thanks for the reply Rob: seems indeed a problem for the panzer grey base color as T and that other dude had the same problem. Would be fine if AK could set things straight ^^
Cheers
