This is my take on the AFV Club kit. I added tow cables I made from copper wire, AFV Club's PE turret basket, indy link tracks and vinyl mantlet cover. I used MM Acryl "Israeli Armor Sand" weathered with oils and chalk pastels. The crew is a set of Verlinden Brit tankers who, while not totally accurate, look good in the hatches. G

Those AFV Club Centurions are pretty darn sweet. Like what you've done with it!

That doggone color changes from second to second, photo to photo. I have a Merkeva IV in the line up and I think I'll mix my own. I'm going to use Floquil Rail Road Tie brown, a sort of dark brown green and a medium gray.
That will come close if I add a dash of dark green.
My understanding though is the current IDF color is not green in any way and is a bit darker than this MM Acryl color. I have a '67 version in primer awaiting a day in the paint booth. she will be a 50/50 mix of Tamiya Buff and Medium Gray
My rusty Hebrew, learned long ago from grandma, tells me S'Hot is literally "scourge" hence "whip".

There is no "right" color for any model. My last two years on active duty in the Marine Corps were spent in embarkation and maritime prepositioning. Think glorified warehouse clerk that floats. I saw literally hundreds of vehicles and AFV's each month and every one was a different shade of green. Right as I left the whole MERDC camo thing started. No two vehicles were painted the same way. I always joke that as modellers we strive for perfection in our builds when in fact the real vehicles weren't.
