My 18 month marathon of pursuing my MBA is finally over. Last class concluded last night and went out to celebrate with my classmates with a pint of stout and good food. No more 4 hour workshop sessions on Thursdays walking through powerpoint slides that assume you can't read, no more 100-200 page text reading assignments a week, no more paper researching and writing, no more team meetings and discussions...I'm free! This, of course, will make a huge difference in my available bench time among other things. Going to be quite the adjustment but I think I'll manage...somehow!

Leon, Mence, T, and Luigi, thanks a lot, been a hard schedule but glad it's over! Kenny, I'm slowly easing myself back into 'normal'. First up will be resuming the weekly trash duties, that was the first thing my wife said when I was done since class nights were Thurs and trash pickups are Friday mornings! Marc we did go to a micro-brewery but I had to drive myself back so had to have a little moderation...but the celebration lasted nearly three hours so it was a fun time for sure! Dicky and CB, happy to provide a convenient excuse for lifting a glass! Glad to have you participate. Gary, no kidding! The 18 months went by fast and slow...I'm sure the physicists could explain how that's possible...statistics seemed to last forever by example! I'm now educated beyond my ability to comprehend at times... Tony, no gold star but happy to take the 4.0 I finished up with as UOP only assigns an A grade for class scores of 95 and above, so had to work hard to keep that throughout the program. Was the only one in my cohort of 17 to pull it off. Now just have to wait for the bureaucracy to function so I can order the final transcript and diploma!

Dario, yes indeed! Definitely more time available for the bench now that it's over. DF, I'll take it, just don't tell the government or they'll require me to have some kind of license I'm sure!

Now for the other part! Just how do you plan on wasting the four hours a day that you devoted that new found form of punishment? I still lack 13 hours from having my ME degree, and probably never will earn it as I just can't get the energy to do one more year of Physics and a Physic course (plus a couple others). gary

I did mine through the University of Phoenix. They have a physical campus (I hate the concept of online) here in El Paso and each class was 6 weeks in duration, one class after the other, from start to finish. My full time energies are now going into the Hobby Intel system with a little bit here and there for more bench time as well of course!

The second one was traumatic! I need one more, and could really use two semesters of Chemestry (optional). The other stuff isn't so bad, but time consuming. I think Phoenix has a campus up near DeafPanzer (seems like I saw it while going to the flyshop). Flyfishing and redheads are my other passions in life as you may already know! gary

Well done brother, kudos for sticking it out and finishing in a grand fashion. Now, you won't be sneakin off to the far side of the house at night to do statistics problems because you miss them, will you?
Regards, Mark
