Bruce
I have to go with Nemo on STERLING as he is the one to know, some great scratch work there.

Thank you both very much. I'll be honest, I am still trying to figure out why I am doing things at times. Here's a perfect example: This is a picture of the instrument dials. I drew them out full size, then had them reduced. Of course, there is no way you can see them in the model, but as the popular saying goes: "I know it's there".

Thanks very much guys. I hadn't thought about others knowing the instruments are written in Russian. I guess all sorts of people know it now.

Bruce
I took a close up look at the gauges and right next to them was a picture of Taylor Swift and right away I thought this was some kind of test but I was able to see that the gauges are first class after a long look. You mentioned some early ford front fenders for the build, it would seem the hood MAY be a representation for the vehicle also though the size of the AutoCar hood might be bigger than the Ford.

Thanks guys. Bones, I think the hood louvers might work (though they would need a lot of thinning). I'll find out in a few days.

Hi again everybody. Sorry I haven't updated for a few weeks. I haven't had much of a chance to work on Katy, and some of the things I was building, I was screwing up. I took a few days off from her, and now things are starting to go together much better. I should have a few more pictures to post in a few days. Thanks again for all of yuor support and patience.

Thanks guys. I do find myself getting in a rush at times. When that happens, I have to walk away for a few days. I did manage to get the rear towing shackle done. I also got a pretty good start on the windshield. I had to see what the rear of the cab looked like on the floor. Again, I thank all of you for following, for your support, and for your comments.

Wow, the towing shackle is a piece of art. If it wasn't evidently made in white styrene, it'd be identical to the 1:1.

Thanks guys. Dicky, I think the only real exercise I get is leaning over to pick up dropped parts. By the way Bones, the louvers from the Academy kit will work. I'm thinning them out a little, but they will fit in very well. I hope to have another update soon.

Thanks Clint. You are quite correct. Mr. Adams was a major helper in getting through the mental block I was having. I am back to making some pretty good progress, and March will be here before we know it.

Hi again guys. I'm still having a few mental blocks, so I started the tire. I also basically finished the windshield. I should have the problems with the cab worked out in a few days. I have an appointment with Sam Adams tonight. We usually work out what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks Leon. Again, I was over-complicating things. With the bad weather coming in for the next few days, I'll try to get more done on the cab and launcher.

Bruce
The tire build is going to be interesting and looks to be one of those real time and patient consumers, thanks for sharing it as I can see the finish is going to be very educational on how too do a ribbed tire.
