Hi everybody,
I finally finished the main parts of the engine.  It should start going together tomorrow after I start painting it.  I should also be going on the suspension again very soon.  She's starting to look like she should.

Thanks Dicky. I really hadn't intended to build a full engine, but I found loads of good pictures of some, and I just had to do it. By the way, this is the first full engine I have built (It probably won't be the last).

Looking very good and will really add to the model on final display, only draw back is it take lots of time.

Thank you Bones. I do agree it will make the end model look better. You could not be more correct that it takes a lot of time (a little over 80 hours in this case).

Hi again everybody.  I have gotten the basic paint on the engine.  There is still a lot of gunking and griming to do, but I'm happy so far.  She is starting to come together nicely.  Again, I thank all of you for your help and support.

Thank you Leon and Bones. I really appreciate your kind words. It is nice getting a bit of paint going. I really can see I'm getting some things done on her. I did manage to get a little assembly done last night, and hope to have another update in a day ot two.

Looooking good, those bolts really make things stand out but they require lots of patient time, good job.

Thank you Clint and Dicky. I do appreciate your words. I was actually looking at the pictures of her and saw the first pic I took of the engine. It was just 5 pieces. Now, about a year later, this is where I am. More to come soon (I hope)

Here are a couple pictures of the engine progress.  I like the results.  I do have to rebuild most of the transmission though.  I did not like how it was going.  I do hope you like my progress.  I do thank all of you again for following this and for all of your support.
