 First a done. This is Tamiya's 1/35th chieftain with the Eduard PE kit. The wadding moulded onto the barrel was sanded off and i used PVA soaked toilet roll to replace it and the PE buckles..Apart from the PE the kit is otherwise OOB.

This is the HobbyBoss 1/35th WMIK with, I think it is anyway, the Black Dog hanging equipment set. Again this is OOB and my first ever time with PE. 3 finger stuck together within a minute

This is the Tamiya Challenger 2. The bar armour is PE for the trumpeter kit. The only PE i could find for the Tamiya kit is the Accurate Armour set, but that costs a fortune. After all, it's the same tank in the same scale. How hard can it be? Bloody hard, as it turns out. Just being a mil too long or short here and there sends the whole thing out of whack. The Slab armour on the turrets was the first time i'd scratch built anything of any significence. Happy with how it turned out.

This Revells 1/24th Audi A4 DTM built OOB. I made is as xmas pressie for me mate whos a huge Audi fan. The base is MDF painted and grassed up. The working lamp post is a 3 LED reading light. butchered to fit.

Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedThis is the Tamiya 1/24th Opel Astra DTM car.this was my first attempt at a high gloss paint job. It was all going wonderfully until i applied that coat of laquer too far. nothing i did would fix it so i decided drastic action was in order.. Enter the Death Race Astra..The armour is plasticard. the wire mesh in the window is fly screen painted silver. The cannon in 3 cotton buds and a spare piece of warhammer stuff i had floating about.. the rip in the metal work are seriously thin pasticard shredded with a blade and cut to sit directly over the panel.. But my fav bit is the missing headlight..in a tribute to one of my favourite things, its covered over in genuine black maskers
