Looks great!
The chipping fluid - you apply it afterwards to remove paint? I was under the impression (for some reason) that it worked like the hairspray method, but that appears to be wrong.

Thanks a lot Deafpanzer, WBill, Luigi, Guderian, Danb, Ironhand and Dupes for looking and appreciating! Dupes, the chipping fluid was applied this way: After the Dark Iron base coat was sealed with dull coat, I sprayed the chipping fluid on random fashion across the hull and turret. When it is dry, I then sprayed the sand paint over the hull and turret. Yes cover it but dont let a heavy coat pour out of the nozzle. This will make the chipping difficult. Once the sand was dry, I got some lukewarm water and a stiff brush to chip the paint. I think this is the same as hairspray method right? havent tried the hairspray yet:) On other note, Im back after some busy schedule for the past week due to errands and work. Im quite happy with the fact that this build is closing and I can start another wip thread:D Here it goes. For the weathering of this beast, I applied the AK Interactive mediums well suited for 35 scale armors. The streaks were applied using AK Interactive Rust Streaks: Irregular patterns were done to simulate wear and fade and streaks of rust-diluted oil and water seeping from the hull crevices. I then brushed the streaking medium and blended it across the hull sides according to taste using a local paint thinner: I then applied the same streaks to the glacis plate: The arabic numbers were handbrushed using Vallejo Model Color Flat White. The Sepah and Kalima decals were printed locally. Here is another chipping detail showing the dual peeling effect: the base color of sand is seen over the black green to simulate first layer paint peeling. The Tamiya Dark Iron bare metal is also visible on the chips. The turret was also weathered and applied with a handwritted Farsi script that says 'Allah'u Akbar'. Slogans were frequently seen on Iranian combat vehicles during the Iran Iraq war as Iranian society and armed forces were still ripe with religious fervor that came from the Islamic Revolution of 1979. The script was written using a toothpick and Vallejo Model color flat white. Thanks for looking! Cheers! Iking
