Congrats! Great work... I don't think I will ever get tired of looking at the cap trying to figure out how you had the plaids painted!

Thanks for looking in and the comments, much appreciated.
The checkers \ plaid or whatever. I will let you in to a little secret, the squares are embossed into the band which makes life a little easier. If you look back at the first couple of pictures on the post I used the fact that the primer coat was white and only painted the red and green squares. Once these were all in I was able to tidy up and square things off and only used white to tidy any rough edges that encroached into the white squares. It is by no means perfect, but at this scale and using the Mk1 eyeball, it passes muster.
