Good evening, Started this one recently. Only three parts so no great problems either cleaning of assembling. Started on the head \ headgear, so not a great deal to see but here is how he looks as of now. Mainly blocked in, but detailing started. More soon, Tim

You've got to start somewhere, might as well begin at the top and work your way down. Looking good so far Tim.

Good evening, Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Small update time. Been blocking in more of the head and also started on the sheepskin coat \ jacket. Placed them together to see how things look, so what do you think? Have to say I love the texture that has been given to the sheepskin , really helps when painting. More soon, Tim

Good evening, Feels like a long time since this was updated. Been working on the face mainly, so thought you might like to see a small update. Long way from finished yet, but quite happy with the results so far. Tim

Good afternoon, Chris & Leon, thanks and glad you like. Chris when you remember who, you will tell........ Worked this a little further and blocked in the rest of the colours. More work required on the beard, tried to give it a hint of ginger trouble is some of it looks like rust! As ever all comments welcome and more soon. Tim

Paul, That is one of the main things I am thinking about. I can see it needs it, but I am really not sure how to go about it I am thinking of giving it a wash with another shade of brown to try and bring it all together and then trying some highlight with the same colour lightened. But what with? Might even just try and drybrush with a lighter colour just to bring out the detail. What would you suggest? Tim.

I would first dry brush with a raw sienna and then just gradually add a little white to the raw sienna and give it layers with a flat brush. you could even add a bit of pure white to the edges of the beard if you want to make him look a bit older

Good afternoon, Getting ever closer to completion now. Gone as far as I trust with the beard so calling it a day there. Fitted to stand and centered on a plinth, just need to tidy a few bits and paint the stand, get a name plate..... seems to go on forever considering how close this is to the end. and a close up, More latter.
