And of course there is that unknown sacrifice that might affect their relationship in some unknown way, the things one must go through to become Nobel.

Holy cripes! I checked in to see how the duck is getting on and I've had my eyes burned from my skull! That pic of Gary is just too scary.. I'm going to print it off and post it on my drinks cupboard ... That'll keep the kids out of it for sure

I've put Gary' piccy on the mantel.....keep the grandkids away from the fire Bones - this is Gary's Partay Kiltutu - his business only Stealth model is black velvet with a shocking pink lining Andy - Cannon Beach looks very nice but it's hardly Nebraska huh? I like the piccy yer got of the two small white stump-tentacled squid in the shallows though..... DickyF
Gary in black at a model show must be a sight.
Those squid's tentacles are so short they wouldn't meet the size limit and were probably throw backs from a commercial fisherman's bye catch. They would have made bad calamari for sure.

Gary
There probably is no one on this site that is anymore understanding of the morning scary picture in the mirror that we have look at than I am. When I look it appears to be a cross between Ralph Cramden and Bullwinkle which is why a Kiltutu would never work. I just don't have Andy's delicate small dancing feet.

Only on MSC can a build thread of a green 6 wheeled amphibious truck, which is 8 inches long at the most, have 14 pages, but only maybe 6 pertain to said truck. We got diagrams, mulch, rock, pizzed off spouses, bad weather and a large bald headed bearded man in a frilly pink something or other.
This is the coolest ferkin' site I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of.

Just wait until I visit some places out there in the west... here's my trip itinerary... Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas (2 nights), Colorado (1 night), Utah (4-5 nights), Wyoming (4 nights), South Dakota (2 nights), Minnesota (1 night), Wisconsin, Illinois then finally home! Unfortunately schedule doesn't permit us to visit Nebraska. But I am really saving for our trip together one day, right?

Nothing in Wyoming....'cept maybe Andy and the two fellas they pay to way at the occasional passer-by!!! All with G on this.....15 pages!!! Let me break it down for you.... 14 Pages
86 pictures of Andy's Duck...no metaphors implied!!
Duck pictures stop on Page 10
62 actual duck or obscure references to something other than Andy's Duck....still nothing implied there!!
1 post of the Kiltutu and a quote...more than enough!!
1 picture of Danica....good bad or otherwise...still Danica!! For the record, I hope "BAD"
1 picture of Andy's feet!!
Safe to say that it 50/50!!
What this shows...One terrific thread!! Build(s), community and FUN!!! Need I say more?!! LOL!!

UTAH?
OMG mate there is nothing there either. I spent a week there one day on a motorcycle westbound on I70. The towns roll up the sidewalks at 4pm, no booze (like I need any), and strange people. No offense to any native Utahan's but holy moly it's boring.
Blackpool eh? Vegas eh? They need any gaming regulators there?

Andy
Don't let the guys give you too bad a time these are some of the places we found interesting when we wandered about its the long drives between them that often get to be a bit much.
Illinois, soy beans and corn with urban guerrillas if you get far enough north.
Missouri has a good representation of small farm towns which are dying out everywhere else.
There is noting in Kansas much other than Coffeeville if you a fan of ill fated bank robberies otherwise it seems to be towns with a lot of empty brick buildings and fields of grain forever.
Colorado, Fire and more fire it seems. Cross Orchards Historic Site, in Grand Junction Mary and I found to be one of those little off the main road places to see.
Utah, they have bars that serve drinks now just like everywhere else, The Union Pacific Museum and John Browning exhibit in Ogden are worth a visit.
Wyoming is another case entirely, there is Jackson Hole and the Tetons and Ole Faithful and one interesting display of the past criminal Wyoming justice experience in Rawlins which has its interesting points.
South Dakota has many interesting historical sites in the SW corner around Deadwood that really stand out.

Steve- Maybe one day we will return to England. Wish money is not the issue so we can visit Europe often! Thanks mate! BigJohn- Wyoming? WHY NOT! Actually have a friend who lives in Basin not far from Cody. We have so much to do while we are there... trip to Yellowstone Park, one of largest gun collection museum and rodeo night in Cody, Devil Tower, and hot spring swimming in Thermopolis. And of course some shooting with friend's big toys... so four days may not be enough! LOL Mr T- LMAO! That was good one... I like how you look at my thread. So I guess it is time for me to post something about my damn duck. Maybe tonight... absolutely no time or mojo to touch it for last 2-3 weeks. I should feel refreshed when I return home hopefully. AND I should warn you guys more pictures of the trip especially big guns and my future secret bunker. G man- Unfortunately my brother-in-law lives in Utah and his son is getting married in Cedar City on Saturday. No booze? You are kidding me... one of my fav beer is waiting for me in Torrey. You just wait and see! And my brother-in-law is a sheriff deputy... he has many great toys and he told me he have two new toys. Picture taken almost two years ago... it was so beautiful out there! Can't wait to fondle them all!!! Hope you understand now? LOL Bones- Thanks for the great tip! Used to live in Kansas for two years... can't wait to see old friends while we are in town. Definitely will visit Old Faithful! And Devil Tower on our way to South Dakota. No time for Tetons but we are hoping to return in few years with camping friends. Can't wait... with your permission I can post a picture or two whereabout my family and I are. Hope Mr T is cool with this... LOL

Getting to Old Faithful while driving from Utah through Wyoming and not passing the Tetons seems near impossible unless in a helicopter, dont miss the Cheese at Afton.

G man- I think I put in only 12 bullets. Next time I am really going to load it up full all the way to 20 or 30. Bones- Actually we will drive straight to Basin from Utah. But you may be correct we should be able to see it from distance? Appreciate the ducks!!! LOL Bill- Thanks! I wish! I did thought about it but too risky. Then I thought about bringing some figures to work. But will I have time? Doubt it... want to spend quality time with my family. Maybe next time... Mr T- More pics of Danica? For sure some wild animals we may run into. Well, Danica can be wild sometimes! LOL Thanks buddy! Here's pic of my DUKW... does it count? LOL A birthday gift from a good friend... he knew I am nuts about panzers. He found this beer 'ArcticPanzer'. Locally brewed in Munster, Indiana not from Chicago.
